Chapter 24 - 'Looks like I can't trust you, Noah.'
I was finally getting let out of the hospital after a day. I know that it doesn't seem that long, but when you're stuck in a room with six crazy people, who argue for every little thing and make you have a headache all day long, a day feels like hell.
I ran outside and kissed the ground, ignoring the slight throbbing pain in my calf. "Oh my gosh, thank you! I thought I'd never see daylight again!" I rubbed the ground with my hand while there was a massive smile occupying my face.
"Uh Hannah. You've only been in there for a day and half. Don't you think that you're exaggerating just a tad bit?" Melissa asked, coming to stand in front of me. I shot up quickly and glared at her, making her shrink back in fright. "Don't you dare speak. You guys tortured me in there. A hospital is supposed to be a place of recovery. But no. You guys made me want to go to the doctor and beg him to give me anesthesia again, because I couldn't handle your bickering anymore! You guys were so fucking annoying!" I cried.
By the time I finished with my little tiny rant, all my friends were looking at me with a strange look on their face. I smirked. "Yeah. That's right. Be speechless." I turned around and made my way to the car, hearing their footsteps scuttle after me.
We all piled into the car, me getting shotgun before anyone else could, and Brian climbed in the drivers seat. "Are we going to the hotel, or are we going to do something else?"
"I got an idea." Aiden piped up from the backseat.
I turned around and faced him, raising an eyebrow at him to continue. "Well, since the girls made us got through hell with the shopping, we can do something today that us guys all want." He said, an evil grin forming on his face. "What do you guys say?"
"Hell yeah!" Jacob said, fist pumping the air, almost punching Natalie in the face. She turned and glared at him. "What the hell is your problem Jacob? You almost punched me!" She cried out, jamming a finger into his chest. He just stared at her blankly with no emotion. "Whoops." He shrugged and turned back to face Aiden. "So let's decide what we'll do."
So for the next half hour, we were sitting in the car with the guys discussing what we could do, while us girls were just staring ahead, doing nothing.
"Hey sweetheart, don't worry. You'll love what we have planned for you." A voice whispered in my ear causing a tingle to run down my spine. Immediately I knew that it was Noah. I rolled my eyes and snorted unattractively. "Oh really." I said, turning slightly so I could see him better. "I'm sure I'll love it. Sitting in the car with nothing to do is the best thing ever! How could you guys even think of that!" I cheered in a falsetto voice.
Noah glared at me. "Oh shut up. We're just thinking about what to do, but don't worry. It won't be that bad, Trust me." He winked at me, causing me to heat up. "Whatever." I muttered, facing the front.
"We've figured out what we're going to do!" Brian announced causing me to perk up from my seat. "Yeah? What are we going to do?"
"Now that is a surprise that you three will definitely love." He said, driving off.
~~
Turns out, I cannot trust Noah, and I am not loving this surprise.
