Chapter 37 - Not Your Average Sleepover
"So, are you guys okay with the sleepover arrangements?" Brenda asked after letting us in on what was going on. Everyone nodded except for Natalie who was filing her nails. "Good." She said before getting up and walking over to where Paul was sitting. "Come on, get up. We need to finish packing by tonight and we haven't even started. Knowing you, you'll take hours packing up your clothes." She said, hauling him up from his spot on the couch.
He groaned but listened anyways. "Okay."
After they left the room, Brian stood up. "Alright, if the sleepover is tonight, then we need to get home and prepare so that we can be ready. They all stood up, one after another and they left with an unspoken goodbye, knowing that we would see each other in a couple of hours.
I stood up and stretched my muscles out, smiling in contentment at the sound of my bones popping. I let out a yawn and made my way upstairs and to my room.
Might as well get some rest so that I can be wide awake for the sleepover.
I slid into bed and cuddled into the blanket. I started to drift off to the land of dreams, and let me just tell you: I freaking love that land of dreams.

"Should we wake her up?"
"Of course! We need to get this party started!"
"But just look at her! She looks so cute when she's sleeping! Let me take a picture."
"Cute? Are you kidding me? She looks like she could wake up any minute and kill us all."
"Not even! You're such a liar Aiden! She looks so sweet!"
"Yeah, unlike any time she's awake.
"Yeah, you have a point there."
"Guys seriously. Can we just wake her up so we can start partying? I already have all the drinks and the chips-"
"-and I have all the cookies-"
"-and I have all the movies and candy-"
"-and I even brought some beer."
"What? Are you serious Aiden? How the hell did you buy beer?"
At the mention of beer, I stirred and started to flutter my eyes open.
Hey, beer can do many miraculous things.
"Oh hey she's awake! Hey, how's it going?" Jacob said, waving at me like the lunatic he is. I rolled my eyes at him and sat up in bed. "What time is it?" I asked.
"It is 6:30." Melissa said, checking the time from my clock. I nodded and got out of bed, completely aware of everyone's eyes on me. I stopped stretching and looked at them.
"Well what are we waiting for? Let's party!"
We all whooped and ran down the stairs. I ran into the living room and jumped onto the couch, sliding in comfortably. Everyone went into their respective spots and we all sighed.
"Wait," Jacob started. "Shouldn't we all sit close together so we can all have the food together and won't have to keep on asking for it?"
Well, he made sense for once in his life. We all slid onto the floor and crawled to the middle of the living room.
"Hey, want me to move the table so we can put a big blanket and have more room?" Natalie asked. Aiden scoffed. "You didn't even need to ask."
"Hannah, go get the blanket while I move the table down here. You know which table it is right?" She asked. I nodded. "It's the one with the teddy bears on it right?" She nodded and I sprinted up the stairs. I walked into her room and instantly her smell hit me. I staggered back at the force of the smell and I shook my head.
