Chapter 31 - The Truth Comes Out
I sighed in contentment and I flopped down onto my bed, my full belly protruding out like it was some type of balloon. I lifted my shirt up so that my stomach was out and I laid down on my back, a hand on my stomach. I closed my eyes and felt myself drifting off when I heard the door open. I internally groaned and I rolled over to my side and cracked an eye open to see Noah standing there, looking at me and analyzing me.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked, feeling wary.
He shook his head and started towards me, walking at a very slow pace. "Nothing, no reason. I was just trying to see if you were awake or not."
I groaned aloud and sat up in my bed. "Well, now I'm awake. Why are you still here? Everyone already left." I pointed out. He shrugged and sat on the edge of the bed, not facing me. I sighed. "Noah." I started before he cut me off.
"I know, I know. I need to explain myself. That's why I'm here. To explain everything." He said, looking at me straight in the eye. I nodded slowly and sat up straighter, resting my back on the headrest of the bed. He scooted a little closer to me and I followed his movement with my eyes. He cleared his throat and started to play with my bed sheets, avoiding eye contact with me. I rolled my eyes and smacked him behind his head, causing him to yelp and turn to me.
"What the hell was that for?" He asked, rubbing his head. I shrugged and picked at my blanket also. "You weren't saying anything, so I decided to hit you to see if you would finally say something." He rolled his eyes at me and I smiled. "So, are you going to tell me how you know The Slayers?" I asked.
He shifted in his spot and looked down at the bed again. "Well, you see..." He trailed off and he began his story.

"What?" I nearly shrieked. "What do you mean, 'Your dad is the owner of The Slayers?" I bellowed. He was quiet and my anger level skyrocketed to a new high. "So you mean to tell me that your dad is Daniel?" I asked. He nodded and I knew that it was the last straw. I lunged for him and tackled him to the floor, hearing his girly shrieks fill my ears. I started throwing punches at him because at this point, I didn't care if I was growing feelings for him. All I knew was that I hated Noah and I wanted him gone.
"Noah Stone you are one piece of shit!" I yelled, punching him square in the nose. I tried to punch him again, but he held my hand back and made sure that I wouldn't be able to move it. I growled in frustration and I tried to swing my other arm, but he held it back also.
I heard the door open and I looked up to see Natalie and Paul come into the room. Natalie gasped and her hand flew to her mouth while Paul rushed over to us and peeled me off of Noah. I started squirming and kicking in Paul's arms, yelling obscenities at Noah. Paul groaned and used a hand to cover my mouth. I tried to get him to let go by licking it, but he didn't budge. He only carried me out of the room and dropped me in the guest room.
The second my butt hit the bed, I was up and running back to the door. I didn't make it very far because Paul grabbed me by the waist and threw me back onto the bed. He shook his head at me when he saw that I was going to get up again and he rolled his eyes. "No Hannah. What in the world has gotten into you?" He asked, throwing his hands up in the air.
I blew out a breath of air and I shook my head. "Nothing. I just really need to talk to everyone." He raised an eyebrow and scoffed. "And I'm not part of that everyone?" He asked, humor laced in his tone. I laughed and shook my head. "No, I meant our group. There are some things that they really need to know." I said, not wanting to elaborate further. I guess he got the hint because he nodded and started to make his way out of the room. Before he could leave though, he turned around and said, "I'll have Natalie come in a few minutes." I nodded and smiled my thanks before he left.
