Evan's POV

"Are you ready yet?!" I shouted to Sydney who's taking so long to finished getting dressed up. We're 5 minutes late for school and I bet Jonathan already left with Craig and Tyler.

"I'm coming! I'm coming!" She yelled while running downstairs. She wrapped her arms around my left arm and I quickly remove it. She wasn't pleased on what I did and glare at me.

"Evan." She said my name with threat. I sigh harshly while gritting my teeth as I let her rewrap on my arm. She finally smiled and we head out.

She went on the passenger seat and I started to drive.

"Evan. Remember everything what I said or else-"

"Yeah-yeah. Whatever. Yada yada yada." I cut her off. She scoffed and smirk.

"You're acting childish." She mutter. I rolled my eyes.

"And you're acting like a bitch."
Her smirk disappear and turn it into a frown.

"I'll let you pass this time." She said and didn't talked after that until we arrived at school. The guard gave me an admission slip while she had an excuse of 'new student'. I rolled my eyes and head to my room. I heard footsteps following me and I look back and saw her tailing behind.

"Why are you following me? Go to your room." I sputtered while pointing at the other direction. She looked at it confused and shake her head.

"My room was your room." She casually said and hand me her schedule. My eyes widen and I glare at her. She may have noticed what I was thinking and she hold her hand up.

"I didn't do anything on my schedule! It was coincidence, I swear!" She blurted. I sigh and hand her back her schedule. I know if she's lying or not and right now she's telling the truth.

We walked side by side until we arrived at our room. I didn't bother to knock and just open it. All of them look at me surprised while the Prof glare at me. Sydney smacked my arm and whisper 'rude' but I didn't care. I'm not in the mood right now. I sat at the very back so everyone knows that I'm not up to talking and I just slouch there with my head down. I don't care wherever Sydney sat at and ignored everyone until I fell asleep the whole morning period.

I was woken up by the loud ringing of the bell echoing all over the room. Everyone started to leave but I waited until no one else was in the room so I could leave without anyone looking at me weird. I didn't know that Sydney was waiting for me. I didn't look at her and keep on walking. She was talking but I didn't bother to listen and felt her arms wrapped again around mine but didn't argue. I'm gonna lose anyway. I felt everyone's stare while we walk. Some whispers and keep on blabbering. I know what they're talking about. The queen is back and clinging on her ex which is the king.

I roll my eyes and head to the cafeteria. We opened the door and the chattering was paused when we entered. Everyone stared at us intently as we walk on our usual table. I sit beside whoever it was and buried my face on the table.

"Hi guys! Miss me?" Sydney started a conversation but the guys didn't say a word.

"Fuck off." I muttered and my voice was muffled by the table but it was understandable to them. I felt Sydney's glare and she said my name with threat again.

"Evan." She said the letter n with force and I grumble as I look at the guys with poker face.

"Sydney's back and she's staying on my house for a couple of days until she find a place to live." I said while rolling my eyes.
