A couple of weeks later...

Jonathan's POV

"Prom?" I asked when Craig mentioned the event. We're currently relaxing today since it's weekend and there's no work left to do.

"Yes! Are you excited?" He said with a huge smile on his face. I just shake my head without any interest on that thing.

"Don't tell me you're also not attending this stuff?" He asked and sit beside me on the couch. I shake my head once again and change the channel. This time I switch it to cartoon network.

He gasp with action. He put his hand above his chest with mouth open as he look at me with wide eyes.

"No. Way." He commented in disbelief.

"Yes way."

He inch closer as he adjust his glasses. I did mine too to clearly see things.

"Are you serious? How much of an introvert are you?" He asked while shaking his head. I think about it and slightly tilt my head.

"Like... 94%?" I answered and goes back on watching. I saw on my peripheral vision that he pout and cross his arms above his chest as he look at me.

"You seriously answered it." I chuckle in response.

"Anyway, you can't miss it. It's our last year in high school so you NEED to experience this." I shake my head once again and glance at him.

"I don't need it that much. Besides, it's not required so I can skip it. I'm also not interested and don't have someone to go with anyway." I answered with no expression at all.

"Oh so you'll go if you have a date?"

"I never said that and I'm not going."

"Come on Jon! It's a Senior Prom! Everyone will go and have fun all night long! There's a dance, loud musics, foods&drinks--" He continue telling all the things on a prom but I stopped listening. I'm actually more interested on the show playing on the tv.

"--crowds, wait are you even listening?"

"No." I answered and change the channel again. When I didn't find any good show, I turned it off and stood up.

"I told you, I'm not interested so don't bother persuading me." I ended our talk and went upstairs. I heard him call my name but I ignored it and went to my room. I plopped myself on the bed and lay down.

'Prom huh?' I thought to myself.

'I never attended any event on the school.'

"Even Christmas Parties." I said out loud. I don't really think about these things and only focus on my studies. I find it as a waste of time.

I close my eyes and let sleep consume me.

[The Next Day]

I woke up and tiredly open my eyes when I heard a knock on my door. I grumble but didn't open it. My bed was too comfortable to leave it. Another knock was made but this time louder. I groan and made my way to my door with a frown.

'Who the hell would wake someone up so early on sunday morning?' I thought to myself and open it.

"Good morning Jon." Luke greeted me with a huge smile.

"Morning Luke." I greeted back. I was about to turn around and go back to sleep when I realized who it was infront of me. My eyes widen and the sleep run away.

"L-Luke?! What are you doing here?" I asked with a shock face. He chuckle and scratch the back of his neck.

"Well, I just wanted to ask if you would like to hang out with me today?" He asked with a shy smile.
