HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Jonathan's POV

I woke up the next day earlier than usual. I look at my clock on the nightstand to see it flash, 4:45am. Well that's too early.

I tried to fall back asleep but didn't felt like it and decided to went downstairs to start cooking things up for breakfast to atleast return my favor to Craig. I look at the refrigerator to see what I could make.

After I gather everything I need, I started making a simple chicken curry while waiting for the rice to be cooked. Just in time, Craig appeared while yawning.

"Good morning." I greeted while placing the food on the table. We sit on the chair before he greeted back.

"Morning too. Why are you up so early?"

I just shrugged and started to place a food on his and my plate. I gave him his food and look at him as he take a bite. He smiled after swallowing.

"It taste delicious! You should try to cook more to improve it." He suggest. I giggle as I joined him on eating.

[Time Skip]

We heard a honking outside and we get our things and walk outside but was surprised to see a red sports car instead of a black one(Luke's Car) beside a blue one(Tyler's Car).

They're happily talking and when they spotted us, he walk up to me with a huge smile on his face.

"Hey." He greeted. I was about to speak when Craig spoke up.

"What are you doing here, Evan?" He spatted with annoyance. Evan look at him apologetic before looking down at his feet.

"I'm sorry for avoiding you guys. Things are just not going so well with my family." He explained. I immediately soften just by hearing his sad voice. I lightly smile and hug him tightly. His body stiffen but a second later he calmed down and hugged back.

"It's ok. I forgive you." I said and we let go of each other. I look at him in the eyes and feeling my heart skipped a beat. It feels like so long since I last saw him even though it's only been a week. I didn't know I really missed his heart warming smile and sparkling eyes. Our staring contest was interrupted when we heard someone cleared a throat.

"Shall we go now?" Tyler spoke up along with mini beside him and grinning at us. I blushed at the way they look at us and simply aggreed. We walk to his car and when I went in I saw someone else inside the car sitting at the backseat. I started to sweat and feeling my anxiousness engulf me while she smile and wave her hand at me.

"Hey Jon!" She greeted. I started to feel confused by her actions.

"Hello." I simply greeted back. She didn't called me a freak and glaring at me right now.

What happened?

Evan didn't pay much attention on us and started driving towards the school.

When we arrived, Sydney immediately wrapped her hands on my right arm and I started to shake from nervousness.

"Don't be afraid of me! I won't hurt you anymore." She spoke up while dragging me towards the others with Evan following us from behind. I'm still confused and when our friends saw us, their eyes widen and as they look at Sydney, they glare at her and some rolled their eyes. For Craig though, he looks like about to explode as he tightly hold on the strap of his bag. We greeted them and I didn't saw Luke so I asked.

"Where's Luke?"

"Isn't he suppose to be with you and clinging to you instead of her?" Lui asked while pointing at Sydney. I just shrugged and we started to walk when Ryan spoke up.
