Ayla
My eyes over flow and the tears begin to spill down my face. What did I just do? I just pushed Logan away probably when I need him the most. I can't hold him back from his dream. I've been out of his life for a year! He has a big future ahead of him. The last thing he needs is a girlfriend that was in a coma for a year that has no idea what happened during said year. Evan and Brendan stare at me awestruck at what I just said. "W-... Why would you do that?" Brendan angrily asks, but his words have an annoyed undertone.I just sit, staring at him. "He waited a year for you! Or excuse me wasted a year waiting for you! I get that you just woke up, I get that you might be a little confused, but Logan turned down so many good opportunities because you were in a coma. He stayed in LA for you! He bought your parents a place down here so you could stay here!"
More burning tears trail down my face. "I-I'm... s-sorry," I manage to make out in between my sobs.
"Oh are you now?" Brendan says his face turning bright red.
"All you know is Logan's side! Do you know how it feels for me! I was trying to help him! It would be so hard to get back to normal! To get back to how we were before the accident!" I yell at him.
Brendan's face turns white. "I'm sorry Ayla. I guess I just was mad because all of the time Logan spent for you. I know this must be hard."
Logan
Chloe walks into her living room with two mugs filled with tea. "Logan?" She pauses and waits for any sign of life, any sign that I'm okay. "What's got you so down?"I take a sip of my tea. "It's Ayla..."
"Oh no I'm so sorry Logan what happened? Will she be okay?" Chloe prods. She's got everything completely wrong though. Ayla is fine. She's alive and well! Well without me.
"It's not that. She... she woke up, but it's not the same between us..." Chloe's brows furrow together. "She..." I try to think of a mature way to put it, but there is only one way to say what happened. "She broke up with me."
I drop my head behind me, the top of the couch catches it. I run my fingers through my knitted hair and sit back up to find a very sad Chloe. There are tears running down her beautiful face. Messing up the makeup she doesn't need. I reach my hand up and wipe one of the tears away with my thumb.
"Well now why are you crying Chloe. It's my big day not yours." I chuckle. A perfect, small, but noticeable, smile creeps on her face. Then falls. I pull her into a hug. These next few weeks are gonna be hard.
