Ouran Host Club with the American

Hakaru

Dinner with the Fujioka’s wasn’t too great. Ranka was trying to explain to Haruhi why he never told her about her mother. Haruhi was yelling and crying, and I was feeling guilty for telling her. She couldn’t sleep and wouldn’t cut off the light so I sewed until Three A.M. By morning she seemed as if she was over it, and I was exhausted.

“If I fall asleep in class your dead!”

“I’m sorry I had to think, now that I thought about it I guess its okay. I mean I’m sure my mother had her own reasons for being in the club. For all I know she could have gotten into a situation like me.”

I sighed and said under my breath “It’s the not knowing that kills us the most.”

“What?” Haruhi looked up at me with wide eyes.

“Nothing!” I smiled and walked into the school.

I spent most of class quite since I couldn’t open my mouth without yawning or speaking gibberish. Kaoru was quit today too and we both just seemed to watch Haruhi and Hikaru. The more I watched the more I began to see that a relationship between them would be horrible!

Kaoru and I walked to the club together while, Haruhi and Hikaru went somewhere.

“Where is Hakaru?”

“Hakaru?”

“You know Haruhi and Hikaru,” I yawed.

“Still sleepy uh…” Kaoru asked.

“Yes, up all night with Haruhi. Where are they?”

“Rose garden.”

“Rose garden? *Yawn* Why?”

“Oh Hikaru is going to ask Haruhi out.” He said it calmly but it broke out into a full sprint to the rose garden. Kaoru ran after me calling out for me. As I ran I yelled, “Why would he do that that’s a terrible idea?!”

“I told him to!” He shouted back while still running after me.

I stopped instantly and turned around Kaoru crashed into me and we both fell to the ground.

“Okay this has got to stop happening,” He chuckled but I was still in panic.

“Why would you do that that’s a terrible thing to do?!”

“He liked her for a long time and I thought it was time for him to make his move.”

I was back in a full sprint through the maze and said, “You’re crazy she doesn’t love him!”

I stopped with a slide to the ground and I peeked through a bush. After about a minute Kaoru was at my side out of breathe and I throw my hand over his mouth whispering, “Stop breathing.”

I saw Hikaru standing in front of Haruhi doing anything to not make eye contact.

“Hikaru I think we’re going be late, what is this about?”

“Haruhi I have to ask you something. I’ve actually wanted to ask you this for a long time.” He rubbed the back of his neck and swung his foot a little.

I whispered more to myself “He is being so cute, there no way you can say no to that.”

Kaoru muttered something but my hand was still over his mouth.

Hikaru looked her dead in the eyes turning as red as the roses around us, “Haruhi…will you go out with me?”

“Like go somewhere?”

Kaoru and I both sweat dropped, “And I thought I was hopeless,” I sighed removing my hand from Kaoru’s mouth. 

Hikaru gave a side smile, I gave an awe, and Kaoru gave me a look.

“He’s so cute,” I couldn’t stop myself from saying.

Hikaru looked down at Haruhi and said, “No, like be my girlfriend.”

It seemed as if time stood still for a moment then I whispered to myself “say no, say no.”

“Ahh………”

He gave another adorable smile, “Haruhi… I’ve liked you ever since I met you. Well every since I knew you were a girl.” He gave a smile shrug and a chuckle, I smiled too.

He met her eyes again saying, “Haruhi… I know I can be hard to deal with and I don’t always put a lot of effort into what I do. But give me a chance and I promise, to put 100% into making you happy.”

She stood there and when she didn’t react he gave a small smile and said, “Haruhi. Will you be my girlfriend?”

A moment of silenced went by then Haruhi said in a small voice, “Yes.”
