Bri’s POV

“I’m sorry for the flight delay; I was expecting to get you back to school in time to see your friends.” The Chairman said as the limo pulled up to the school.

“It’s okay Chairman,” I smiled “School just let out I’m sure everyone is still here that I want to see.”

When the limo can’t to a stop I reached for the handle in excitement forgetting that the driver was to get it. I draw my hand back and looked to the Chairman once more smiling, “Thank you Chairman.”

“Please call me uncle!” He said with a wide smile that reminded me of Tamaki.

I giggled a little as my door opened, “Okay uncle, bye. And thank you again.”

I took off running as soon as I was out of the limo heading straight for music room three. I could hear my footsteps pattering through the empty halls. I hustled up to the third floor and crashed through the double doors with a loud bang, “I’M BACK!” I shouted with glee but no one heard me.

I couldn’t even hear me, everyone was shouting at each other, things were being thrown across the room, and I was almost hit by a vase. They must be playing a joke on me right now, this can’t be right. I thought to myself.

Until Hikaru shouted that he was done and stormed out of the doors without even seeing me standing there staring at him. Kaoru followed behind with anger in his expression as well, he walked right passed me too but stopped after a few steps. He glanced over his shoulder and I gave a weak wave with a side smile.

“Bri?” He said softly, some of the anger eased but he did dare to smile.

“What happened? It was nothing like this when I left,” I asked pointing back to the room of shouts.

He turned around to face me and said in a sort of harsh tone, “That’s what happened! You left… How was your trip? How’s Mike,” He spoke softer now. I think he realized he was letting his anger out on me when he shouldn’t be.

“Mike is fine; he’s in a wheelchair for a while and on a lot of pain meds. As for going home, “I sighed and looked back into the host room, “It was better than I thought it would be.”

“That’s what I was afraid of,” Kaoru said harshly, then turned and walked away.

As much as I wanted to go after him I didn’t. I turned and walked into the host room and up to Haruhi, I simply grabbed her by her wrist and pulled her away. She had been shouting at Tamaki who was not responding to her at all, even though she was crying. That’s so unlike him. Kyoya was trying to reason with Tamaki a little too loudly and Honey and Mori were yelling as well. Something about Mori not paying Honey enough attention. Mori’s not really one for talking, let alone yelling.

“WHAT IS GOING ON AROUND HERE?!” I shouted at the top of my lungs, the room went quite and everyone looked to me in silence.

“Someone answer me!” I hissed through my teeth. Tamaki’s eyes left mine and fell on Haruhi, followed by everyone else. I turned to Haruhi who was behind me with her head down in shame; I shook my head in disbelief. “What did you do?” I asked softly.

She let out a sob and ran past me for the door. I looked around at everyone just standing there, watching as she ran away, crying, alone.

I shook my head and said, “I refuse to believe Haruhi is the only one at fault here and regardless of what she did or didn’t do… The host club I left behind would never act this way!”

I turned and ran after her, she not very fast or quite so I caught up with her quickly. I grabbed her hand and pulled her to a stop and she stated crying out, “I didn’t mean it… I didn’t know what I was doing. That it would lead to this I…I…I’m”

I pulled her into a hug, “Shh…we’ll talk about this later okay? Let’s just go home.”

I pulled her back and she nodded, I kept one arm around her should and we headed home. She told me everything on the walk, what she did, what Tamaki said, what Hikaru said.

“I think he’s right,” she said wiping her eyes.

“About Tamaki?” I asked, it’s always been kind of obvious but I wasn’t going to tell her that now.

“No! Yeah… Maybe…I don’t know I meant about everything. I’m a horrible girlfriend and no one should be treated like how I treated Hikaru.”

I said nothing, just watched the sidewalk in front of me as I stepped. Then she said, “Know this is the part when you tell me that am not horrible and that everything will be okay.”

I shook my head saying, “Nope.”

“What do you mean nope.”

“I’m not going to lie to you, what you did was terrible and you’re kind of a b*tch,” I said bluntly.

“WHAT?”

“You know B-I-T-C-H; yeah you kind of acted like one. Now you need to fix it, I will help you but don’t expect me to lie to you. You were careless enough to hurt other peoples feeling don’t think I’m going to sugar code anything for you.”

“Someone friend you are,” she said in a snob voice, rolling her eyes at me.

“B*tch move, and I’m a hell of a friend you’ll see that soon enough. Your true friends aren’t afraid to tell you the truth.”

“Guess I got a lot to learn about that?”

“Well I’m here to teach you,” I said throwing a petty punch at her shoulder. She smiled a little and we walked around for a while before heading home.

I laid in bed trying to make a game plain but the only thing I could think of was; How the hell am I going to fix this?
