The gasps, the omgs, and the yelps filled the air around me as we made our way around the statue of liberty. Mr. Sato trusted us enough to not have a stupid tour guide but every time he bumped into one of his students he gave him a trivia question that we learned in class. So I did my best to avid him.

"Haruhi," I whispered as I started to walk slower behind the group.

I grabbed Kaoru's hand pulling him back, looking to me he asked, "What's wrong?"

"Hikaru, Range," I called in hushed tones. They all stopped and looked to me. A small smile slipped to my face, I looked around to check for secretary.

"They never pay attention around here," I sighed, "They make it too easy."

"Too easy for what?" Haruhi question.

With a final check I backed up to a door that said 'Do not enter.' "Follow me."

"Eh... it says, do not enter." Kaoru said pointing to the sigh.

"Thank you caption obvious, now let's go!" I grabbed his hand and Haruhi's and pulled them into the staircase. Hikaru and Range followed willingly and quickly I shut the door. "Come on," Excitedly I hopped around and started of the spiral staircase only to see that my crew had not follows. From the stairs I shouted down, "Come on, let's go! Trust me it's so worth it!"

Everyone looked up at the long journey of stairs that lay ahead. With a sigh Range took the first step saying, "It better be."

And so we began, setting off up what seemed to be the never ending stairs. By the fifth turn I seen everyone breathing deeply and grunting in frustration. As we made our way up I began to sing, "I can almost see it, that dream I'm dreaming but there's a voice inside my head saying, you'll never reach it."

"Bry! Shut up!" Range yelled.

I smiled and sang louder, "every step I'm taaaaking, every move I maaake feels lost withno direction, my faith is shaking."

"My feet is acing!" Hikaru sung childishly.

I went on loudly, "But IIIIIIIII, I got to keep trying, got keep my head held high."

"Not this song," Haruhi pleaded.

I smiled back to her on the narrow staircase, "There's always gonna be another mountain, I'm always gonna want to make it move. "

There's always going to be an uphill battle. Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose." Kaoru sung with me.

Range jumped in, "Ain't about how fast I get there. Ain't about what's waiting on the other siiiiiiddde."

I stopped climbing the stairs and opened a small door and sang louder than all with my voice echoing through the hollow statue, "IT'S THE CLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMMMBBBBBBBBBBBBBB!!!!!!!"

As I held my heavenly note everyone else ignored me and looked through the small door I had just opened. "What's with the small dark hole?" Hikaru questioned.

"I didn't sign up for this," Range stated.

"Yeah, I think the journey ends here," Said Haruhi.

"Yeah, I'm with them," Agreed Kaoru.

Dramatically I spoke to them, "Come on guys, There's always gonna be another mountain. We're always gonna want to make it move, there's always gonna be an uphill battle."

"And this time, I'd rather not lose." Hikaru said before clapping his hands together, "Nice work out people, let's do it again sometime."

I grabbed the back of his shirt, "Not so fast."
