Today is Wednesday. I love Wednesdays. They are really great days. Of course, Dean doesn't like Wednesdays. His favorite day of the week is Tuesday, but I don't like Tuesdays. How ironic!

Today is going to be amazing!
I walk into the high school, walking as fast as possible to get away from Dean but it doesn't make me feel anxious, not today. I will make wednesdays great again. Hehe. I love my own little jokes.

"Hey boo" I say, sneaking up on Ruth and laughing when she jumps.
She laughs along after a moment, seemingly happy today too.
She's been so happy and carefree since her and Shawn got together last year. They are perfect.
SHANANNA!

The day speeds by. First hour, we see the frogs we will dissect. Seminar, Dean stares at me and I stare out the window.
Third hour is freezing cold and Josh tries to grab my butt.
Fourth hour Mrs.G threatens to move Ruth and me.
Finally, 5th hour when Ruth and I both have theater.

Beck wants to do some exercises on the stage, which isn't at all unusual but her and Ruth keep talking really quietly and grinning from ear to ear. It's weird, not to mention creepy.

We get there and after we do yoga for a minute, Beck introduces us to this completely new and weird exercise called "close your eyes." It honestly sounds completely made up, and it's sketchy.

So she goes through all of us kids, having us stand on the stage, and close our eyes. We think of a calm place that we like and when we are ready, she says a word then we say the first word that pops into our head. It's weird.

I go last, and stand awkwardly in front of the class until she says "open your eyes" and I say "please" because I really want to open my dang eyes.
She says "no, really, I mean open your eyes."

The atmosphere changes and I can tell that someone is really nervous but it isn't me. A cool rush of air at my feet says that someone just entered the stage. I turn a bit to the right, and see Dean walking towards me with a bouquet of flowers and a drop dead gorgeous, crazy nervous smile.

Is this how Ruth felt when her true love admitted his feelings for her? Because dang. It was Shawn. Also he kissed her a bunch of times before they actually dated.
But this is my story, my Shawn. My Dean.
