Chapter twenty one
Liz said yes to Dean!! Now she gotta boy, and I gotta Shawn. Life simply couldn't get better.
Mom got that job at 3m and I'm working at Walmart, even though we have plenty of money now and Shawn is being way too genorous.
But I want to work. I want to pay for my own things and just get the experience, even though it sucks.
But it feels good to help mom out and to be making my own money.
Yesterday I kicked two fifty year old guys out for sword fighting with light sabers.
I really didn't want to, because it was honestly the best thing ever but if I didn't then our manager would have.
"Hey baby," Shawn says as he walks up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist.
"Ready for our double date tonight?"
I roll my eyes and turn around, planting a kiss on his cheek.
"You're going to love it," I tell him.
"You and Dean will get along great."
He grins down at me, then we kiss for a minute.
"We could just stay here you know," he says smugly.
I giggle, out of breath.
"No, we have to go."
He sighs. I never would've pictured Shawn to be such an introvert. He actually hates everyone, except for me. And liz and mom.
He doesn't mind Zoie, but Joyce scares him and he isn't a fan of Dean but only because of the whole confusing heartbreak thing-hey haven't even met in person.
We kiss one last time, before heading out the door to our double date.
