*Continuation of previous scene*

Just then I hear a high pitched squeal and the little girl I saw from earlier crashes right into Elis' leg, wrapping her tiny arms around them.

Eli let out a laugh and picked her up,
"How's my lil' munchkin doing? I missed you so much!"

"I missed you too! Guess what?!" the little girl says looking at him with excited eyes. She has the same eyes as Eli.

"What?" he stares at her with the same amount of excitement,  making him look like such an adorable child.

Woah! Did I just say adorable?!

"I lost a tooth! And I didn't even cry!" She exclaims, flashing a wide grin.

Eli laughs out loud and replies, "That is awesome! And what did the tooth fairy give you?"

She puts an a proud smirk which makes her look a lot like Eli, which is frightening. "I gave her a list of things she could get me so I can like what I get."

I spoke up, "Woah! She's smart!"

The little girl finally noticed me standing there and then whispered loudly to Elis' ear "Is that the girl you told me about?"

Huh?!

Eli nodded.

"She's prettier than you said she was " she whispered, still keeping an eye on me with her hand cupping her mouth to Elis' ear, not that it was helping.

I gaped at her, shock written all over my face but I quickly covered it up with a cheeky smile. I had an idea.

"He said I was pretty huh?"

Eli looking panicked, shook his head furiously at the oblivious little  girl, hoping she'd keep quiet but obviously she didn't catch on cause the next thing she said was, "Yeah! He also said you were boiling hot!"

I smirked, hoping my flaming cheeks weren't too obvious,  "Did he now? What else did he say?" I looked at Eli giving him a You're toast! look.

Even before she could continue Eli finally snaps out of his shock and covers her mouth with his hand but then a second later he pulls it back shrieking in pain, "Ow! You bit me! You crazy piranha! "

She scowls at him, crossing her arms over her chest and then says, "That's what happens when you interrupt me when I'm in the middle of a conernation (conversation; this kid is too cute!)

I hold my hands up calling a time out, "Okay! Okay that's enough. Eli aren't you gonna introduce me to this bundle of joy?" I say, gently cupping her cheeks.

She cheekily smiles at him waiting for him to proceed.

Eli rolls his eyes, "Ari, this is my little sister Emily,  Emily meet my roommate Ari "

She offers her hand for me and I shake it, as though we had just met. "It's nice to meet you. I have a feeling you and I will become good friends "

Eli murmurs,  "And I dread the day it happens"

I smile evilly at Eli and then turn to Emily, "So, would you like to sit next to me at the ice cream parlor and talk about what else Eli has said about me?"
