Elis' P.O.V.

I smirk, knowing she was totally smashed but just to rub it in her face I ask, "Are you drunk?  You lightweight. "
I couldn't help myself.

She stares at me for a minute and then, to my surprise, she starts giggling and snorting which looks freaking cute and unbearably funny. Normally, snorting isn't a very attractive thing but Ari was an exception. As her laughter intensified, she started slapping me on the face and drunk Ari packs a mean slap.

She stops giggling and slapping me and takes a closer look at me with wide eyes, "Wow, you have such nice eyebrows!"

Eyebrows?!

She then scowls at me and says, "I hate you for having such pretty eyebrows!" and then continues to slap me.

"Okaaaaaaay that's enough slapping for today okay?" I say and hold her hands together.

She giggles to herself once more before trying to steady herself.

She stares at her feet as she concentrates on her footwork. I hear her murmur something. I stop staring at her and walk closer to listen to what she's saying.

"De dan, de dan, de dan de dan de dan  de dan de daaaaaaan...!"

She was singing the pink panther theme song as she took each step.

She seemed like she was having fun and for a change,  I didn't really care about not embarrassing myself anymore. I think it had something to do with the fact that I wanted Ari to see the real me. And I was comfortable with Ari. I guess it must be because she is one of those few girls who don't judge that easily. The fact that she is just so natural and raw with her emotions and expressions. She just draws people to her without realizing the effect she has on people. The effect she has on me.

I fall in step with her and sing along, even tip-toeing, to add effect.

Soon we start belting out the lyrics of different songs like Happy by Pharell William, Beat it by Michael Jackson, Best Song Ever by One Direction and so on, adding a funky dance  to it too.

Ari starts laughing after we stop for a break and says, "This is way more fun than a date with Anty! "

I stop what I'm doing and look at her, not knowing how to reply. All my life Antonio was always considered better than me. Everyone thought very highly of him and usually ignored me when he was around. He always got what he wanted because of that. Crushes that I had picked him without thinking twice. And he didn't hesitate to encourage them, even if he was aware of my feelings towards them. Whatever I thought I was good at, he was better. Nobody has ever picked me over him before. Ari did.

"Ooh! A tree!! Let's climb it!" Ari jumps up. The alcohol had slightly worn off and now she was only tipsy.

She runs off to the tree with me following suit. Once she finds the right branch to start with, I wait to go after her. After a little struggle we manage to sit comfortably on a branch.
It wasn't really high but it was something.
We just sit there in silence, just enjoying each other's company.
