What did I do to deserve this?
I didn't kill anybody.
I've been nice to everyone.
Well okay, maybe I didn't let that kid in the supermarket take my lollipop but only because it was the last strawberry flavor!
I wasn't going to give that up! Oh god! Could it be because of that?
Oh now my life is ruined! Ugh!
Wait till I tell my friends about this!! They are going to hit the roof!Maybe Nat wouldn't really mind since she has that super huge crush on Shawn and all.
Without even waiting for me to invite him in, he saunters in like as if he owns the whole place.
'Well he kinda does' says my concience.
"Shutup! You're not helping!" I accidentally say out loud.
Eli looks at me strangely.
I smile sheepishly and say "Sorry, I wasn't saying that to you!"
"Then who were you saying that to? There's no one else over here" he says, looking amused with only a slight smirk still on his face.
I'm pretty sure he would die still wearing that smirk on his face.
Just before thinking of an excuse so he wouldn't be seriously creeped out with me, an idea popped into my head.
What if I acted super weird, then maybe he'd think I escaped from some mental institution and he'd pack his bags and leave.
So with the most serious expression I could manage, I said "I was just talking to Sophie."
Eli looks at me curiously and asks "Who's Sophie?"
"My conscience." I reply with my best poker face.
Not expecting such an answer, he bursts out laughing and when he doesn't see me laughing too, his laughter immediately dies down and he asks "Wait- You were just joking right?!" with a bewildered look on his face.
"No! Do I look like I'm joking?!' I reply "Look I haven't got all day so um,.. I'm just gonna go clean the kitchen but if you wanna stand there gathering dust, it's fine with me. You might actually be tolerable" I say and speed out of that room and into the kitchen to make myself another cup of coffee.
I make the coffee and walk back into the entrance of the dorm to clean the mess I had made, only then noticing that Eli had left his position in the living room.
As I start cleaning up, Eli enters the room with a confused frown on his pretty lil face.
"Um.... Ariana? I have a small question for you.."
Dropping the cleaning cloth, "Please, just call me Ari. Sure what's up?" I ask.
"Uh-...wheres my room? and I can't find a room for my stuff..." he asks.
I burst out laughing at his state.
I had never thought about how he'd manage from sleeping in a plush king-sized bed and walk-in closet (just guessing) to sharing a room with another person, a single cupboard for his clothes and having to share a bathroom and making his own meals.
After I finish laughing, ignoring Elis questions about what's wrong with me, I get off my position on the floor and escort his highness into the common bedroom...
Oh shit! I have to share a bedroom with him!! Urgh! I groan.I point at the empty single bed next to mine "This is your bed. I hope you don't snore!" and then walk back into the kitchen with him following and point at a small cabinet and say "And this is your closet. Don't hog the whole section. I usually keep my panties there"
