Instinct (Alpha Levi x Omega Eren)

Nightmares

Cold.
Its cold.

Eren wakes to find himself alone, laying on the forest floor.

Ba-dum.

He can feel his heart beating in his chest, everything is cold. Everything except... his hands. Why are his hands warm? He looks down.

Ba-dum.

Why are his hands red? He looks around at his surroundings and sees something dragging itself through the shrubs.

Ba-dum.

He stands and walks over. As he gets closer, its features become more distinct. Human. Its a person.

Ba-dum.

Small, blond, male. He looks familiar.

Ba-dum.

Eren catches up to him. The boy is missing a leg. As he crawls across the forest floor he leaves a trail of blood behind him. The boy looks behind him to see Eren. Fear forms in his eyes and he screams, "PLEASE EREN, DONT DO THIS. IM YOUR FRIEND REMEMBER? I KNOW ITS THE FULL MOON BUT PLEASE! TRY TO CONTROL IT! EREN ITS ME, ARMIN, ARMIN ARLERT, FROM THE ORPHANAGE! EREN PLEASE! EREN! EREN!"

"Eren! Wake up for christs sake! Its almost time to leave and youre not even up!" Eren wakes up in a cold sweat to the sound of a familiar voice. Levi opens the door to the bedroom and sees Eren. He notices Eren is distressed and walks over, "Are you alright?" Eren springs out of bed and hugs Levi unexpectedly. Levi jumps back slightly. "You have to help me. The full moon is today and I dont know what im going to do", pleaded Eren.

"Alright listen, we slept together once. That doesnt make me your boyfriend, got it? I have a lot of paperwork thanks to you getting mistaken for Marco and I cant come running for your every need. You work for me. Got it?" Levi felt slightly sorry for Eren, but he wasnt the guys butler. He did have paperwork to do, and he couldnt waste his day teaching Eren things he shouldve learnt years ago.

Eren walks away feeling stressed. 'What if I really do end up killing someone this time?'. He quickly gets dressed and brushes his hair back with his hands. Levi signaled for Eren to exit. They both walked out and down to where Hanji's office was supposed to be.

Levi knocked on the door to Hanjis office and left, leaving Eren to face her alone. "HEY Eren hows it going? Did ya have fun last night? Come in, I want to run a few tests before starting the tour."

Eren ignored her question about last night and walked inside, taking a seat on one of the chairs she had situated next to the wall.

"Okay so how do you it?" Asked Hanji, slightly excited. "Do what? The bullet thing? I just move out the way", answered Eren, speaking as if dodging bullets was a common activity. "Eren, if you shot a gun at me, or anyone else in this corporation, we would almost certainly get hit, and possibly die" replied Hanji. "What do you mean? Why dont you just move out of the way?" Said Eren. "Because we're normal. You, however, are something else. A bullet fired from a gun moves faster than the reaction time of a normal human or wolf. Now explain to me, how does it feel?" Said Hanji while getting a pen to write notes with.

"Well, it feels as though time slows down, the bullet or weapon thats about to hit me slows to a snails pace. Then its as easy as taking a small step to the left for me to avoid it, nothing else to it." Eren nodded at his response, satisfied. Hanji completed her notes and stood up from her desk, "Well Ive already lunged my knife at you so I dont need another physical test. Instead, why dont we get on with the tour?" Hanji left the room and Eren followed behind.

• Time Skip •

"And that, as you already know, is Levis place. I think thats about it for the tour, I have things to do and you should check in with Levi and see if he has anything he needs you to do", said Hanji. With that, she left, leaving Eren to wander the halls. He looked at a clock that was hung on the wall, 5:0opm. In another hour he would begin to lose control, and he didnt know how to stop it.
