She's Ours (Klaroline)

Aliyah will always sign as she talks, Emmalee learned ASL for Aliyah so she will sign also. And yes Aliyah did speech therapy. When they are in a car they "talk" that means signing.

Aliyah

I got picked up by my best friend and sister Emmalee to go to the mall with her family since they love me. Her parents don't know I'm a hybrid but Emmalee does. I told her last year. We had to walk to Emmalee's house then we were driving. I waved to mom as she stood on the porch and I turned to Emmalee and said, "My aunt is going to be coming to town soon."  

"Your cool aunt?" I laugh and say, "My aunt Bex." She nods and says, "I love that aunt!" I laugh at her and say, "I know you tell me every time she visits." She says, "Ha ha ha, very funny." I push her slightly then reply, "Oh it is, very funny." 

She sticks her tongue out at me. I stick mine back out at her and I sense someone watching us. I stop and look around. There is a black Escalade parked on the side of the road and I sense someone in the car but I turn to Emmalee and say, "There is someone watching us. Lets go." She nods and replies, "Yeah, okay, lets go mom will be wanting us home to leave anyway." I nod and we hook arms to continue out journey to Emmalee's house.

When we got there Emmalee's mom yells, "Girls! You're here! Good. We were just going to start the car." I nod and I feel my ears start to work a bit as I hear her talk. I say, "This is going to be fun." Emmalee agrees and her mom asks, "Why do you two always do sign language?" 

I admit, "I'm partially deaf so sometimes I need to sign for when my hearing fades." She nods and says, "That's a great reason! Sorry.." I wave her off and say, "It's fine. People always ask." She nods and she ushers us out to the car. Emmalee and I silently chat on the way and she asks, "Who was watching us?" I shrug and say, "I dont know. I could sense them." 

She says, "Weird." I nod and say, "Yeah." Mom asks, "What are you two talking about back there? Being awfully quiet." I look at her and shake my head and we say, "Nothing. Just stuff." She nods and says, "Alright. Well girls we are here! Have fun, I'm going to the spa and getting my nails done." She kinda faded so Emmalee told me. I giggled and we got out.

We were sat in the food court and Emmalee and I were "chatting" when a group of guys came up and said, "What are you two ladies doing alone?" I wink at her and she signs to me what they said, I say, "Alone? We aren't alone." She says, "Um we aren't alone."

One points to me and asks, "Is that what she said?" I roll my eyes, turn to them and say, "It's rude to talk about deaf people in the third person. And yes that's what I said. I'm only half deaf you moron." His friends 'ooooh' and I smirk. He frowns and says, "I'm sorry I offended you princess." 

I shake my head and say, "I don't care. Go away." He says, "What's the magic word?" I was about to rip this guys head off. I say, "Okay, fine, I don't care, please go away." He sighs and leaves. But he turns around and says, "That's fine I'm going that way." He signs it wrong and says, "What's fine I'm doing what away." I laugh and so does Emmalee. He says, "what's so funny?"

I say, "That's not how you say that! You said, whats fine I'm doing what away!" We laugh more and I look when he says, "I don't care." He does it right and I smile and say, "Good job." He scoffs and walks away. Emmalee and I laugh again and I say, "What's fine I'm doing what away!? How did he get that?" She shakes her head, "Be nice!" I say, "I was just messing with him, calm down!" She smiles at me and asks, "What am I going to do with you?" I shrug and say, "Nothing? Or love me?" She laughs and says, "Lets go find dresses to try on." I nod and say, "Okay."

We were on the way home when I got a text from momma, "Can you stay the night at Emmalee's tonight?" I text back, "I will ask."

 I sign to Emmalee, "Can I stay the night tonight?" She says, "Maybe." She looks at mom and asks, "Can Aliyah spend the night?" Mom nods and says, "Of couse!" I thank her and text momma, "Yep I can, love you." She texts that she loves me back and I put my phone away. I look at Emmalee and say, "That's weird momma never asks me to stay places." She nods and says, "YHeah, dont think too much about it." I say, "Okay."

Caroline

I gasp at who is in my house, "Elijah." Bekah says, "Damn it Elijah why did you follow me?" He calmly says, "Is it a crime to want too know what my baby sister is up to?" She says, "I'm not up to anything." He nods and says, "Of course. Miss Forbes, who is this young girl?" He holds out a picture of Aliyah. 

My breathing picks up and Bekah says, "Stop it Elijah, go on Caroline, tell him, and I will make sure he won't tell Klaus." I take a deep breath, "That's Aliyah, my daughter. Mine..and Klaus' daughter." His jaw drops but he regains his composure and says, "So you're saying that you have kept Niklaus's child from him for 14 years?" I nod and say, "It was for the best. You can't tell him Elijah." 

He sighs and Bekah says, "Oh come on Elijah if Klaus knew of her he would take her from Caroline. And she's not normal, she needs Caroline." He asks, "Different how?" I say, "There was a spell cast on her that made her deaf to loved ones." He nods and says, "I think I watched your daughter walk with her friend down the road. She seemed to sense me and then signed something to her friend and they left." 

I smile and say, "That's my girl, what were the hand motions by chance?" He says, "First she pointed to my car, then tapped her pinky to the chin and made a slice motion on her hand and made a one. She made two v's with her hands and pushed them out from her eyes and then touched a finger to each shoulder. Last thing she did was have an open hand next to her head and closed it as she pulled up." I say, "ah, she said, there's someone watching us, lets go." 

He nods and says, "Smart child you have." I thank him and he sighs, "I will not tell Niklaus about the child. But I want to meet her soon." I nod and say, "Of course Elijah, you are her uncle." He nods and disappears. I sigh and Bekah says, "Well that was fun. Lets go to bed shall we?" I nod and let her lead the way to our room.
