“It's hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember.”

S h r a d d h a

When we become matured enough, we understand people are just temporarily in life. —Everyone appears at some point of time and quietly disappear when their work is done.

It's fine. But, I wish at the end of the day when they disappear they would take up this unwanted emotions and feelings with them as well.

Why can't the feelings end at the end of the story? Why it stays like a glue in our hearts which is unwanted?

I was by the window side so that I could see the people who are passing by our class room whenever I get bored of these classes which happens a lot, if you ask me.

The subjects are not boring but the lectures make them boring. I don't blame everyone but some people just needs to know the difference between how to teach people and how to make people fall into deep slumber.

I was listening or should I say pretending like I was listening to the subject when I heard some strange sound coming from the window.

I looked out to see Sid standing and waving at me. He signaled at me to come out while I shook my head.

Alia watched this and started giggling.

Suddenly some piece of paper fell on my head from the window. —I knew it exactly who threw this. I looked at the window.

Sid stood there making funny faces while I signaled him to go back. I think Alia couldn't bear this and bursted out laughing.

“Alia and Shraddha.Get up.” I let out a curse under my breath before slowly getting up, avoiding eye contact with Mr. Carter.

“Get out. Now.” He yelled pointing towards the door.

We both took our bags and walked out as we both knew it was completely futile attempt arguing with Mr.Carter.

Sid was waiting for us, victory smile flashed on his face.

However, I was still angry at him.
“Hey, Shraddha. Stop being so grumpy. It won't suit you.I am sorry.....” He said holding his ears.

“I will forgive you only if you treat me with an ice-cream.” I said.

“Sid never says 'No' to food.Come on then, let's head to ice cream parlour.” He said, sounding enthusiastic as always.

~

We went to the nearest ice-cream parlor.

Alia and Sid were engrossed in some conversation while I was enjoying my ice-cream.

Sid turned towards me as if remembering some thing
“I am meeting my old friend, tomorrow. He is joining our college from tomorrow.” He said while I hummed in response.

“I am very excited. You guys will be very happy to meet him.” He said.

“Oh.” I said wondering if I should heed towards home or spend more time with them.

“Cool.” Alia said and I got up to leave.

Cool breeze hit my face as we walked outside. The weather is farely cold now.

“So see you tomorrow guys.” Sid said and left.

“Shraddha, I think Sid likes you.” Alia said.

“Shut up! He is just being friendly.” I said, irritated while Alia throwed her arm over my shoulder and looked at me.

“Buddy, I know it's difficult for you but you need to learn to move on. Sid seems like a good guy. Why don't you think over it?” She asked.

“Alia, stop over thinking. I am not interested in Sid or anyone else......More over, I hardly know Sid. Don't you think you are jumping into conclusions too fast?” I asked.

“I know you will never love anyone expect him.”

Alia has been my best friend from many years. She has been in my toughest times of my life and I appreciate it. But what she just said right now, hurted me.

Alia noticed my sudden mood swing.
“I am so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you.” She said placing her hand on my shoulder.

“It's not your fault.” I fake smiled.

“We are getting late we should be going.” I said.

She was about to argue but thankfully kept quiet and nodded her head.
