Love is not about just love. It's also about caring, trust and respect.

I ran down the hallway pushing people on my way. I am such a ignorant person. Today was the day Varun and Kriti were having the dance competition and I was late.

One whole freaking hour late and I could tell Varun will be furious on me considering the amount of missed call and messages he left for me.

I stopped in my tracks and let out huge breaths and rushed inside the auditorium. My eyes scanned the whole place before finding Varun at the centre of the stage with Kriti.

My face fell when I realized I had missed their competition when my eyes fell on the tropy, Kriti was holding.

I was about to take a step when all of a sudden Kriti throwed herself on Varun and hugged him. My heart boiled watching them when Varun didn't do any attempt to push her away which further intensified my anger.

Did I ran all the way to witness this act?

I quickly turned my hells and did an about turn when his voice stopped me.

“Shraddha.”

I sighed before rooting in my spot cursing mentally. I could hear footsteps behind me making me turn around trying to mask my feelings with a smile.

“Where were you?” He asked.

“I am really sorry, Varun. I missed your competition even though I tried my best.” I said.

“It's completely fine, baby. I can understand.......I was just worried.” He said.

“Aren't you upset on me?” I asked.

“No, why would I be? I am sure you will have your own reasons and even if not, don't you think it's a silly matter to get upset?” He asked and I nodded.

This Varun was different and more mature who seems to surprise me every day because the old Varun always picked up a fight with me every day or so.

I smiled and opened my mouth to congratulate him when Kriti came running behind and began to drag his arm.

“Varun, you will have to see this. Come on.” She said.

“What is it?” Varun asked, irritaed.

“Areey, sir is calling you and look how you are wasting your time, here.” She said, glaring at me.

What the heck is wrong with this girl?

Varun tried to protest but she successfully dragged him away.

“Just a second, Shraddha. I will be back. Stay right here.” He said. —But, I turned around and began to walk not wanting to witness any more of their closeness acts.

For some reason, it affected me. Their closeness or the way Kriti shoots daggers at me whenever I am with him.

Frustrated, I walked alone through the empty hallways as there was no classes today my mobile rang.
