“Little things in life makes it more beautiful.”

I waited in the cafe near to our college since half an hour and there was no sign of Varun.

He was supposed to be here by 4:30 and it's nearing to 5:00 and there's no sign of him, yet. We were supposed to go out for the fair which was held in the city and now he is not even answering my calls.

I sighed before getting up from my seat to look out for Varun by myself. He must be in college and I need to find him and drag his ass out from there.

The place I was waiting for Varun was five minutes from college and I reached the place in no time. I called Varun again but he didn't pick.

I walked inside and decided to search for him in his dance practice class as that's where he is spending his time, the most.

I entered the dance class looking around when I finally saw Varun. But he was not alone. He was busy chit-chatting with his new friend, Kriti who was side hugging me.

Varun noticed me looking at me and his smile brightened. He excused himself from her and ran upto me.

“Shraddha........”

“Do you even know what time it is, now?” I asked.

“I know Shraddha and the practice ended just now as the competition is tomorrow, itself. I am so sorry, baby for making you wait.” Varun said, bringing his hand to my cheek but I shrugged it aside.

“You could have atleast answerd my calls, I wouldn't have wasted my time.” I said.

“Mrs. Arora didn't allow cellphones with us. You know how strict she is.” He said but I was barely paying attention.

“Right. You can resume your work with your friend, I think I disturbed you.” I said, turning to leave but he held my hand.

“Shraddha, what's wrong?” He asked.

Nothing, Varun. I just lost my mood.” I lost my senses when I saw you with Kriti, I wanted to add.

I jerked my hand away from his and walked away. I entered the playground and took a seat looking around.

There were few boys playing basketball and I watched them play to pass time as I didn't had much to do, anyway as my boyfriend decided to ditch me and be with her so called 'friend.'

Just then, I saw something hanging in front of my eyes and I looked at it to see it was a beautiful heart shaped locket. —I looked up to see Varun holding it with his hand and smiling at me.

I ignored him and turnes away when I felt his hand around my neck.

“What?” I asked. He ignored me and tied the pendant around my neck.

“How is it?” He asked.

“Nice.” I replied while he sat beside me.
