"Time and situation changes people."

I wipe my tears which fell down without my knowledge. I left the place even though Varun tried to convince me to listen to him.
I don't see the point of why is he trying to get in touch with me after he literally crushed my heart with his foot and walked away when I needed him the most.
I sit silently with my thoughts and watch the rain hearing the pitter patter sound of it against my window. -I trace my name on the window and let out a sigh.
Since, the time Varun has returned again my mind could think of nothing except him. -At the same time, when it comes to reality, I choose to walk away from him not wanting to face him, again.
I looked at the pouring rain, again. Maybe, the rain would help my mood for this evening.
I stood up from my bed and picked the hoodie and an umbrella from the closet and walked downstairs.
"Where are you off to?" Mom asked, switching channels on the T.v.
"Just for a walk." I said and she stared at me like I was crazy.
"Shraddha, are you crazy? It's pouring outside and who goes for a walk in this weather?" She asked.
"Mom please, I promise I will get back if the rain gets harder. I just need to loosen up my mind a bit." I said, making a puppy face.
"Fine, don't be too late." She said.
I choose to walk into the nearest park. I pulled my jacket closer as the heavy wind hit me back to back. -The rain has turned to drizzling by now and there weren't much people in the park and I was thankful for that.
The biting cold chilled my fingers into clumsy numbness and cold sweeped into my toes and feet.
Just then, I noticed a few kids laughing and dancing in rain making me smile.
I sat in one of the benches and watched the kids dancing in rain. Just then, I noticed a boy around my age coming towards the children.
His back was facing me so I couldn't see his face. He bent down disturbuting sweets to the children and planting a kiss on each one of them.
I leaned back in my seat watching the scenario when the boy turned making me gasp in shock.
Varun.
What is he doing over there?
After disturbuting he began to dance with the kids making my eyes and mouth to open wide in shock.

"Oh my God, it's raining." I said and walked over to the open space of the ground and opened my arms wide.
I looked over at Varun who was glaring at the sky cursing at it.
"Come on Varun, don't be boring." I said.
"What? Do you want me to step out in rain? No way, I am not a kid to do that." He said, throwing a disgusted face.
