I had her park next to the open area. We both got down and grabbed two shovels nearby. We got to digging. The both of us remained quiet as we dug. I was in disbelief at the fact that I was making more graves. Two more dirt mounds added to the list of all the others. Once we had finished with the graves, Jesus came by.

"Who were they?" he asked.

I looked up at him. I inhaled deeply.

"Glenn. Maggie's husband. And Abraham," I replied.

He looked down.

"Negan?" he said.

"Yeah," I said.

"How can I help?" he asked.

"Help us move them over here," Sasha said.

Jesus nodded and the three of us headed to the bed of the truck. Before we took them, I searched Glenn's pocket. Sasha did the same with Abraham's. I gasped then let out a whimper when I pulled out the watch Hershel had given him. He carried it everywhere he went. Sasha reached over and placed her hand on my shoulder. I nodded and regained my composure. We all helped with the first body then the second. Once it was all done, Sasha and I sat there.

"How's Maggie?" I asked Jesus.

"She still sleeping. But Dr. Carson will be monitoring her carefully," he said.

I nodded.

"I'll give you two a minute," Jesus said turning to leave us.

"Jesus," I called to him.

He turned back around.

"Thank you," I said.

He smiled warmly and nodded. He took off. Sasha and I were quiet for a while.

"You two had just started, hadn't you?" I asked.

She took in one shaky breath.

"Yeah...we had," she said softly.

I moved closer to her and held her hand.

"I'm sorry. He...he was a tough son of a bitch," I said my voice breaking.

She chuckled softly.

"Yeah...that he was," she said.

I looked at Hershel's watch. Tears had started to fall again.

"Maggie's gonna need us," I said.

"I know," Sasha said.

I looked over at her.

"So we'll be there for her," I said.

"We will," she said.

I rested my head on her shoulder and we both looked at the two graves in front of us. After about an hour, Jesus came by again.

"She's up," he said.

Sasha and I stood up.

"How is she?" Sasha asked.

"She's gonna be fine. But she's going to need to take it easy for a couple of days," he replied.

"So we'll give her a couple of days. Whatever she needs," I said.

Sasha nodded.

"Now, I don't know when she'll be out of Dr. Carson's trailer. You all are welcome to stay in my trailer until Maggie's all better," Jesus said.

"Are you sure? We wouldn't want to intrude," I said.

"Yeah. That's the last thing we want," Sasha retorted.
