Maggie came up to us once the last body was in the flames.

"Maggie. That was smart but you could have gotten hurt," I said looking at her.

"It wasn't the first time I've handled a tractor," she retorted.

"Regardless, that was not taking it easy," I said.

"You got the gates closed?" she asked changing the subject.

"Yeah. Cal and Eduardo helped me. I'm assuming you had something to do with that," I said.

"You needed help," she said.

"Well, thanks for that. It made it a lot easier," I said.

She nodded.

"We should try and get some more sleep. After this, there's a lot more that we need to think about," Sasha said.

"She's right," Maggie said.

"Thanks to you three for your help," I said.

"Thanks to you guys. You saved us," Cal interjected.

"We were just doing what needed to be done. I'm sure you would have done the same thing," Maggie said.

"No. We weren't all that sure on what to do. You guys led the way," Eduardo said.

There was a lot of things that these people needed to learn. Why Gregory hadn't done anything about it before, was beyond me.

"Well, we've got some things to figure out," Sasha said.

"Yeah. We do," I said.

"We'll see you all later. Again, thanks for the help," Maggie said.

And with that, we went back to the trailer.

"I didn't see Gregory anywhere. I'm sure all the noise woke him up as well," I said when we were inside.

"Yeah. That spineless son of a bitch," Sasha said.

"We'll talk to him when the sun comes up. Come on. Let's get some more rest," Maggie said.

Sasha and I nodded. I took off my boots and took the same position I had before waking up. I closed my eyes and tried to get more sleep. When I woke up, I changed into one of the shirts Jesus had left us. He had gone to talk to Gregory. Maggie, Sasha and I had something to eat before heading over to the house.

"Sasha and I will work for you to stay here," I said once we reached the house.

"Yeah. We will not let Gregory kick you out. We'll do whatever it takes," Sasha said.

We could hear Jesus arguing in Gregory's office.

"Let's go and talk to him," Maggie said.

"Gregory?" Sasha said as she opened the door.

We walked in.

"Ah, I was just telling Ms. Caitlin to bring up some of her famous rhubarb preserves for you all. It's our way of saying thank you for helping out last night," Gregory said.

"It's Ms. Maitlin," Jesus interjected.

"You can take them with you when you go. And you should go now, because the Saviors could get back any minute," Gregory said.

"It's not a good idea to take Maggie away from the doctor. But I'll go," I said crossing my arms.

"Amelia," Maggie started.

"I'll go too. But let Maggie stay. We'll call it even on last night," Sasha said.

"No deal. But it's been lovely having you here," Gregory said.
