I gasped and chuckled softly. They all looked at me. I sat down on the couch and tried to slow my breathing.

"Amelia? Are you okay?" Maggie asked coming up to me.

"Yeah...Yeah. It's just...Glenn said something similar. When we were coming back to Alexandria with Enid," I said running a hand down my face.

I tried my damnedest to keep the tears in. But I couldn't help it. Maggie sat down with me and held my hand. Jesus and Sasha had come closer as well.

"What did he say?" Maggie asked.

I took a few breaths before answering.

"'You honor the dead by going on. Even when you're scared. You live because they don't get to'. So we honor him. We honor Abraham, by going on. The people we love, made us who we are. And if we stop being who we are, that part of them that's with us, is gone," I said getting choked up.

Maggie hugged me.

"So, the both of them are still here because we are," I said.

Maggie and I parted. She had tears in her eyes as well.

"Sounds a lot like him. That's who he was. Thank you for telling us," Maggie said.

Sasha then came and hugged me as well.

"I really needed to hear that," she said when we parted.

"I'm glad I was able to remember it," I said.

"I'm glad you all are here," Jesus said.

We looked over at him and smiled.

"We can't thank you enough for giving us a place to stay for the night," Maggie said.

"I'm happy to provide that for you all. I'll let you get some rest. See you in the morning," he said.

"Wait. Where are you going to sleep?" I asked.

"I'll take one of the rooms at Barrington House," he replied.

"Oh. Okay. Thanks again for everything, Jesus," I said.

He nodded and then left the trailer. Maggie stood up and went to sit on the bed. Sasha and I watched her. She sighed.

"Now what?" Maggie asked.

Sasha chuckled.

"Maybe we stay. What can Gregory do?" she said.

"He's in charge," Maggie said.

"Pfft. Not for much longer I hope," I said.

Sasha nodded again.

"He's an idiot," she said.

"He's a coward. They're more dangerous. We have the night. Let's think on it. Things will be clearer in the morning," Maggie said.

"You're right," I said.

I grabbed a blanket and curled up to one side of the sofa.

"Are you sure you're gonna be comfortable like that?" Maggie asked.

"Yes. I'm fine, Maggie. So long as you're good," I replied.

She nodded.

"Sasha, is this enough space for you?" I asked signaling to the gap between the two of us.

"Yes. Thanks, Amelia. I'm gonna go and get something to eat real quick first," she said.

"Yeah. You really should eat something," Maggie said.

Sasha stood up and then exited the trailer.

"Get some rest, Maggie. You need it more than any of us," I said.

"I'll try," she said.

I curled back up on the sofa and rested my head on the arm of it. I closed my eyes. My mind went to Daryl then. I hoped with everything in me that he was still alive. That he was fighting like the fighter I knew he was. I grabbed my necklace with my eyes still closed. I then drifted off. The sound of music woke me up. Sasha and Maggie had heard it too. We all stood up.

"The hell is going on?" I said.

Sasha went and looked out the window of the door.

"The gates are open. There's fires. The music is coming from a car," she said.

She tried opening the door but it wouldn't budge. I went to the window and tried opening it. It was sealed shut. Someone had come and made sure that it couldn't be opened. The Saviors. It had to be.

"We need to shut that thing off," I said.

Maggie then started moving one of the chairs onto the table that was in the middle of the trailer.

"Maggie. You need to take it easy," I said.

I looked up. There was an exit there. That was our way out.

"Doctor's orders," Sasha said.

"I can't let you two do this by yourselves," she said.

"Sit," Sasha told her.

"We got this, Maggie. Please. Don't exert to much energy," I said.

She nodded.

"Go," she said.

Sasha went ahead and opened the door on the roof. I grabbed my knife and followed. The both of us looked toward the gates. Walkers had made their way inside.

"I've got the gate," I said jumping off.

I ran to the gate, taking out walkers on the way. I suddenly heard Maggie's voice. I looked toward the trailer and saw she was standing on the roof.

"Maggie," I said.

"Amelia behind you!" Sasha shouted.

I turned and dodged a walker that was heading toward me. I dove my knife into it. Jesus was helping Sasha with the group of walkers that had made their way further inside. Cal and Eduardo came and helped me with the gates. The three of us had managed to get the gates closed.

"Thanks, you guys," I said.

"Sure thing," Eduardo said.

"Help Jesus and Sasha take out the dead," I said.

They both nodded and started taking out the walkers. I ran to the car. Sasha met me there. We both tried opening the damn thing. It wasn't working. I went to the back and saw a metal hand that was flipping us off.

"Those assholes," I said.

More walkers were heading our way. I went to take them out. There was suddenly the sound of an engine from a distance. I turned just as Maggie was reversing a tractor.

"Maggie," I whispered.

Sasha then started to head to her.

"Sasha. She's got it. I need your help here," Jesus said.

He was right. I went back to taking out the walkers. There was a crunching sound. Maggie had ran over the car. The music had stopped. Before we knew it, we'd had done it. I wiped some sweat from my forehead. Eduardo then came up to me.

"What do we do with the bodies?" he asked.

"Well, the fires are here. Let's burn the sons of bitches," I said.

"You got it," he said.

We heaved the bodies into the fires that were lit. Jesus, Sasha and Cal helped us out.
