We got the bed ready for Maggie. After about an hour, Maggie and Enid walked back in.

"You guys okay?" I asked.

"Yeah. I got some more intel on the place," she said.

"And how did that go?" I asked.

"Everyone loves her," Enid said.

"They were just grateful for what we did," Maggie retorted.

"They all wanted to come and shake her hand," Enid said.

"Well if I didn't know her already, I'd want to shake her hand too," I said.

Enid and Maggie smiled.

"I'm actually really tired. I'm gonna call it a night," Maggie said.

"Are you hungry?" I asked.

"I already had something. Thank you," she said.

She went ahead and made herself comfortable on the bed.

"Enid. You can take my place on the couch," I said.

"Where are you going to sleep?" she asked.

"Here," I said pointing to the table.

"Seriously? Amelia, I'd feel bad," she started.

"Don't. I don't need much to get some shut-eye. You had a long journey over here. You deserve it," I said.

"Here. You can have my pillow," Sasha said handing it over.

"Thanks," I said taking it.

We all settled in for the night and before I knew it, everyone had fallen asleep. I held on tightly to my necklace. Daryl was still alive. And that gave me the hope I needed to keep going. I'd be able to hold him close again. Something in me just knew it. I smiled and closed my eyes.

"Hey," he whispered.

I opened my eyes and looked at him.

"Hey. Morning," I said.

He pulled me in closer and pressed our foreheads together.

"We better get going. Everyone's gonna be there," he said.

"That's right. And Eugene was saying that he had a surprise for little Hershel," I said.

"What is it?" he asked.

"Daryl, if I knew, it wouldn't be a surprise now would it?" I retorted.

"You telling me he didn't at least give you a hint 'bout what it was?" he retorted.

"No. So we better go now so that I could see the look on Hershel's face," I said.

We got out of bed and got dressed. We were back home. Back in Alexandria. We made our way out the house and saw everyone setting up the tables. I rested my hand on my belly. A little boy or girl would be coming soon enough.

"Glenn! What are you doing to my little nugget?" I called when I saw him tickling Hershel.

"Last time I checked, he was my little nugget," he called back to me.

"Hey. That is my nickname for him," I said.

"I'm gonna get some wood for the fire," Daryl said.

"All right," I said.

We kissed and he made his way down the street. I made my way to Glenn and Hershel.

"Amelia!" Hershel called.
