I then remembered something.

"Oh shoot, Maggie, I meant to tell you something yesterday but I completely forgot," I said.

"What is it? Is everything okay?" she asked getting serious.

"Yeah. Everything is fine. It's just, when Enid and I went to take the dishes after dinner yesterday, there was a woman named Charlie there who asked if we could teach her how to take out the walkers. She thanked us for taking them out," I said.

"What did you tell her?" she asked.

"That I'd be willing to do it but that I had to talk to Gregory about it. But I'm talking to you instead," I said.

"Good. So, there are people here that would be willing to learn to fight," she said.

"Looks like it," I said.

"We could teach them," Sasha said.

"Yeah. We'd have more people," Enid said looking at Sasha.

"Yeah. That would be a good start," I said looking over at her too.

Maggie didn't take notice.

"Should we talk to Gregory about it?" Maggie asked.

"In all honesty, I doubt he'd be up for something like that. He's a coward. I think we should keep this amongst ourselves. Just for now at least," I said.

"Yeah. Yeah okay we'll do that. And as soon as Jesus gets back, we'll fill him in," she said.

"He's one of us," I said.

Maggie looked at me.

"I was thinking the same thing," she said with a grin.

"Okay, well if I'm not needed anymore, I'm gonna head to the house and clean up a bit. Get some fresh clothes and all," I said.

"Try and get something to eat. Sasha, you should too," Maggie said.

"Yes ma'am," I said.

I left the trailer. I made my way to the house. On my way, I got greetings left and right. These were good people. They deserved to know how to defend themselves. Gregory owed them that much. I grabbed some fresh clothes from one of the stations near the house. I reached the house and quietly made my way upstairs not wanting to run into Gregory. I reached one of the bathrooms and locked it. I sighed in relief that I wasn't seen. I went to the mirror and looked at the woman that was staring back at me. She was still here. A part of me held on to everything that my loved ones had said in that vivid dream I had a few days ago. I would keep fighting. For them. And for everyone else that was still here. For Glenn and Abraham. This was not going to be how we lived. We were not gonna kneel to that asshole. He doesn't know us. He doesn't know what we are capable of together. I was a fighter and I was ready to take that dictator down. I took in a breath and released it. I undid my hair and stepped into the shower. It didn't take long. Once I was done, I grabbed a fresh towel and quickly dried myself. I got dressed then brushed my hair and tied it up again. The clothes I'd come in were laying in a pile next to the shower so I picked them up then headed out. As I was descending the steps, the door to Gregory's office opened. I tried to quickly make my exit but it didn't work.

"Amelia," he said.

I slowly turned and faced him.

"Gregory," I said.

"Where are you heading?" he asked coming up to me.

"Back to the trailer. I just came to clean up," I said showing him the pile of clothes in my arms.
