"Unfinished business?" I stop my track as Jennie continues walking.
She doesn't reply or even turn around.
"JENNIE!" I call her out but it doesn't have any effect on her.
"Shut up,your voice when you call my name makes me weak"
"Wh-what are you trying to imply?"
Did I mention how much Jennie has changed? Her ghost is completely different.
Back then, she used to answer my every damn question.
She used to cooperate with my annoying ass and never told me I was a moron but now...
It's quite different.
She has grown cold towards me.
Doesn't know what I feel like when she becomes super ignorant of how I feel.
I watch her move her feet,I need my goddamn answer.
To prevent her from going any further,I back hug her.
The sudden back hug makes Jennie stop.
Her hair still smells the same...
Strawberry.
"Answer me Jennie" She seems super uninterested.
Her skin bristles in the dark night, every indication of joy had vanished from the atmosphere.
After a minute of hugging her I heard light sobs coming from her.
I quickly turned her around to only see the sight of her tears.
"Why-why are you crying?" I ask as I cup her face in my cold hands.
She roughly gets out of my grip and turns around again.
"It's been.....three years" she points at the sight I never wanted to see again in my life.
Her blood is still present on the road, the vehicle was never moved from there.
We're here again,the abandoned area.
"Lisa...today's your birthday..." My eyes widen and my heart skips a beat.
"You're finally nineteen...and today marks the day.."
"When I died"
My heart starts feeling heavy. All the memories start slowly appearing in my head.
I don't have to think about it, Jennie is right in front of me.
But why? Why does my heart feel heavy?
"Jennie.... I'm sorry" Jennie shakes her head.
"I feel sorry for myself, for not being able to make you...
...mine" my mouth left a little gasp as Jennie said the last word.
