"Jennie?" Jennie couldn't stop smiling and squealing the whole time. This ghost is so unique and weird. But that's why I love her.
"CALM DOWN AND ANSWER ME!" Jennie looked at me, her cheeks still stretching.
"Lisa, I'm...human!"
My heart skipped a beat, my eyes widened, and my mind? Blank.
"Wh-what?" I ask, getting up. Tension at its peak.
"Lisa... I'M HUMAN! IT MEANS I'LL BE HERE FOREVER!"
As Jennie's words escaped her mouth, my hands covered my mouth in joy.
And after a moment, I found myself too, squealing and screaming with Jennie.
This was a miracle, this was a dream come true. This was a highlight of both of our lives. I will never forget the days I would watch Jennie cry, because she misses her family. And to this day, I still blame myself for all the misfortune.
I jumped around the room, yelling at the top of my lungs.
"JENNIE I- AM SO HAPPY" I ran towards the bed and hugged her real tight.
"WOMAN I HAVE A DAMN SCAR ON MY CHEST BACK OFF"
"Oops, sorry" I rubbed my neck and let out a soft chuckle.
The atmosphere was playful, it still felt so unreal.
"But...." Jennie's eyes got filled with sorrow once again.
"I want to meet my family.... they'll only get creeped out" She sighed.
I just hummed in agreement.
"And what about.....your....lover?" I am so damn straight forward.
"Who cares about him anyway" she gave a smile, a reassuring one.
We spent the day with each other, laughing and joking like we used to.
The house wasn't gloomy anymore, it was enchanting.
But it hit me,
How did she become human?
