Chapter Eighteen: Decisions, Decisions.

I spun my chair around a couple of times in boredom. Soft music was playing through the speakers.

"Yo, Cat?" Will yelled. I looked up to the small office on the level above, to see him sticking his head out the door.

"Yeah!" I yelled back.

"The phones for you." I raised my eyebrow picking up the phone.

"Hello?" I twirled the phone line around my fingers. It kinda made me feel like I was in an eighties movie.

"Hey." Vic said. I nearly fell off my chair.

"Oh hi Vic, what's up." The door jingled open and a couple of girls came in. One had an Of Mice & Men tank, the other, had a Pierce The Veil hoodie. I smirked at them.

"...So what do you think?" I blinked out of my trance.

"Huh, what was that?" Vic laughed.

"Your hopeless, I said have you thought about what we asked?" I sighed and sunk into my chair, eyeing the girls wondering the store.

"Vic, I don't know. Warped Tour is a big thing. And it's so long away from Anna." I ran my finger through some hair that was coming loose from my braid. I saw one girl look up at me. She had a small frown.

"I know, but, we really need you. I don't really know anyone else. It's not just cause we know you, we've seen you work. Your reliable, and think about how much fun we would have." I laughed at his tone of voice.

"Yeah, who doesn't love getting hammered with bands every night." I could almost hear Vic smile.

"Have you thought about it though?" I went quiet for a bit.

"Kitty." I looked down at my chipped fingernails with a tiny smile.

"Of corse I have Vic." He softly sighed on the other end.

"Is it just Anna holding you back?"

I frowned.

"Yes Vic, I'd prefer not to leave her, I haven't left her for five years. It's gonna be hard."

"I know, but she'll be there for the first few venues if you come right?" I chewed my lip.

"And there this thing called the internet and FaceTime." I let out a small chuckle.

"I know but, Vic." I huffed. The girls were getting closer to the counter. They had a few CDs in their hands.

"Please, c'mon Kitty, live a little." I scoffed.

"I do live."

"When was the last time you went out?"

"Oh ha ha, very funny. Just because I don't go out much, doesn't mean I'm not living."

"Please." I groaned.

"Can we not do this now." He went silent.

"I'm doing my puppy dog face." I slapped the table.

"Don't you dare tell me that, now I can't get that picture out of my head." He was laughing through the phone.

"I'm pouting my lip out further."

"No, Victor Fuentes you need to stop right now." I said louder then I meant to. The girls were eyeing me now, curiosity gleaming in their eyes.

"I don't think I can until you say yes."

"Your a cruel cruel man."

"Oh I know." I chuckled.

"Catherine, please." He pleaded
