Chapter Twenty-One: Starstruck. ~ Vic POV
I tried to hold back a laugh at the look on Cat's face when she walked up. She stared at the All Time Low boys in complete wonder. Alex smiled at her.
"Hey, I'm Alex." He said, offering a hand. She slowly reached up her hand and shook it.
"I know, I'm Catherine, but I prefer Cat." She stuttered.
"So this is the mysterious Cat we've heard about." Jack said, winking at her. She blushed and looked up at me.
"They've heard of me?" I laughed at her expression. I heard a small laugh come from Rian.
"Yeah, Vic won't shut up." I gave him a glare while Cat raised her eyebrow at me. She turned and smiled at Zack and Rian.
"And, of corse, Rian and Zack." Rian turned to Zack with a shocked looked.
"She's heard of us?" I laughed at them. I heard a small squeal to my left.
"Mama!" Anna bounded towards us, jumping into in unexpected Cats arms. She laughed lightly catching her.
"Hey chook." Cat said, smiling at the little girl in her arms, kissing her forehead. The way she held and looked at her daughter could make a blind man smile. Anna played with the end of Cats hair.
"You still have the braid?" Anna questions. Cat grinned.
"Of corse, it's like the best braid ever, I mean I look like Katniss Everdeen so I'm keeping it in forever." Anna gave her mom a big toothy grin.
"Who's this cutie?" Jack asked, smiling at Anna. Anna turned and looked up at him.
"I'm Annalise." She spoke softly, hiding slightly in Cats neck. Zack leaned forewarn with a huge smile.
"I'm Zack." He held out his hand and she cautiously took his fingers in her hand. I saw a small smile started to spread on her face. Rian moved forward next, introducing himself. Alex moved closer to me.
"She has your eyes." He murmured so only I could hear. I gave him a sideways glance. I frowned at him. I hadn't told him anything about Anna before. He gave me a smile before stepping forward, before I could say anything back."Well, I'm gonna go teach Mike how to skate properly." Zack said, pointing his thumb at Mike and Tony mucking around with a skateboard. Rian ended up following him leaving me, Cat, Anna, Jack and Alex.
"How old are you?" Jack asked her.
"Five." She replied, not being so shy anymore.
"Yeah, she's a big girl." I teased her. She scowled up at me, I poked my tongue out at her. I saw Jack raise an eyebrow to Alex.
"So Vic you never mentioned you had a daughter." Jack said, making me choke on the sip of my beer I just had. I saw Cat looked surprised too.
"Is it really that obvious?" I asked, Alex just shrugged.
"Well she looks like you, and you've talked about Cat non stop so I kinda guessed." Alex shrugged it off. He grinned down at Anna.
"Poor you, your stuck with your fathers look." Anna giggled.
"Shame you didn't get more of your mothers." Jack gave Cat a smirk. She blushed and I felt my eyes narrow slightly at Jack. I slid my hand into Cats, who looked up at me in surprise.
"Why don't I introduce you to Oli." Alex pouted.
"Don't be like that Vic, let us hang for a bit." I looked at Cat and Anna. Anna was watching Alex with a sad expression, hoping to go back to her new friend. I met Cat dazzling green eyes.
"Maybe later?" She offered. I sighed and slid my hands from hers. I felt some hope rise in my chest when I saw disappointed flash in her eyes.
"I need another beer." I sighed, leaving Cat behind me, watching me retreat towards Marcus and Gus. I reached in between the ice pulling out a new beer and started up a conversation with Marcus.I think the more I got drunk, the more gorgeous Cat seemed to become. I sat in one of the fold out chairs people had pulled out, looking at her talk animatedly with Jenna Mcdougall. I heard a soft grunt next to me as Kellin slouched in the chair next to me.
"You look like a creepy stalker." He said, taking a chug from his drink.
"I'll just say I was drunk."
"You are drunk."
"Then I have nothing to worry about then." I retorted. I turned to look at one of my best mates.
"Do I even deserve a second chance?" I asked him. He returned my look.
"Depends what you did." I avoided his eyes.
"I practically told her we were better off without a kid." I mumbled. I heard Kellin choke slightly on his beer. His reaction made me sigh deeply.
"Did you say it when she told you she was pregnant?" I shook my head.
"We thought we had lost the baby and I practically said it was better off." I heard Kellin intake of breath.
"Damn, maybe you did screw up. No offence man, but shit." I took a deep gulp of beer.
"Tell me about it."
"So Anna is yours?" I nodded.
"I'm taking you already guessed." I saw Kellin nod in the side of my vision. I looked sideways at him.
"What's it like being married?" I asked him. He had a small smile on his face.
"People say it's torture, but I think it's just another way of saying 'hey I'm in love with you and would like to spend forever with you'. If your cheesy like that. Having Cope too just makes it worth while." I smiled lightly.
"Having a daughter is pretty cool." I admitted, looking at Anna. She was being spun in circles, screaming, clutching onto Alex's shoulder. I grinned.
"Oh god, I can see us now, drinking beers on the front porch, with beer guts watching out daughter grow up." Kellin laughed.
"And with shotguns by our side to make sure no one gets close." I snorted.
"This is her one and only year at Warped I swear." Kellin patted my shoulder.
"I completely understand what you mean, I've seen more boobs here then I did in Game Of Thrones."My visions had started to go slightly blurry as I slung my arm around Austin.AN
"Auuussstttiiinnnn, what's up my man?" I slurred, hanging off his shoulder. I think he was just as wasted as me as he wrapped his arm around my waist.
"Missing my Babe." He yelled and kissed my cheek. I faked a girly giggle.
"Oh stop it you." I said, waving my beer around. I heard Alan gasp.
"Excuse me are you trying to steal my man." He asked, his own beer sloshing in his hand.
"Can't steal what wasn't taken." I said, protectively wrapping my arms around Austin's waist, lifting my leg over his hips. Alan growled before I heard that angelic voice.
"Oh great, is Vic gay now." I hung my head upside down to see Cat approaching. Her hips swaying in her shorts, her tank top hugging her figure. Damn she looked sexy. I was surprised when Austin Factually picked me up bridal style.
"Yep, sorry for disappointment." Austin said as I laugh continuously. She waved a hand at him.
"Nah, I always suspected." She moved closer to Austin.
"He always wanted it take it from the back." She whispered winking. I gasped.
"That was a secret your were never suppose to say." I yelled. She laughed.
"God bless drunk you." She chuckled, patting my shoulder. Austin let go off my legs, causing me it fall out of his arms and stumble into Cat. She caught me laughing her head off. M
"It seems like your falling for me." She gave me a devilish grin while she hi-fives Austin.
"Maybe a little." I admitted with a crooked smile. She had paused for a second to scrutinise me. I
"Your maybe a little too drunk." I gave her a smirk.
"Or maybe I'm perfectly drunk." I offered up. She laughed shaking her head.
"You're an idiot." she murmured, giving me a warm smile. I realised I still had my arm around her waist, and her hands pressed on my shoulders. I could feel her body heat radiating onto my skin."Hmm, I think it's getting a bit hot in here." Austin crowed right in my ear, causing me to wince and Cat to giggle cutely. She still didn't remove her hands from me.
"It's getting hot in here, so take off all your clothes!" Alan sung in the stupidest voice, while stripping off his shirt and screaming, and started running in circles, spinning the piece of fabric over his head. I shook my head, I'm drunk but not stripper drunk. I gave Cat a lazy grin.
"Hey angel." I whispered, causing her cheeks to flare red, as I tightened my hands around her waist. She cleared her throat.
"Me and Anna are gonna head to bed, please make sure you don't make too much noise coming in ok?" I was surprised when she leaned up and kissed my cheek.
"Goodnight." She breath against my cheek before sliding her hands off my shoulders and stepping out of my grasp. I watched her walking away, already missing her being in my arms.
"I can almost hear the wedding bells." Austin teased in my ear. I just patted his shoulder.
"Austin, I love you but I don't know if I can take that step in our relationship, and I think Alan would crash our wedding." Austin sighed.
"It's tragic but true, I thought we had something special." He sniffed. I looked up at him.
"Your just not the one." Austin gave a drastic huff.
"Alas, he has fallen for the girl with the pretty green eyes." He dramatically ran off crying and hugged the shirtless Alan while I laughed shaking my head at him.
