Chapter Nineteen: Farewell

I tugged at my rather big bag with a grunt. I muttered under my breath as I managed to drag it down the stairs. Pulling it behind me I walked towards my tiny car. Casey already stood at the open trunk. I managed to tug it up to her.
"This needs two people." I said, grabbing one side. She raised an eyebrow, before crouching down and lifting.
"Jesus, did you bring a baby elephant with you?" She groaned.
"Hey I'm going for longer then you, leave me alone." We heaved it into the trunk finally with a big sigh of relieve. Casey wiped invisible sweat of her forehead.
"It's ok I think you forgot your bed. You've already got your closet." I punched her arm before stalking away. I walked into the living room where Anna was sitting with her head upside down, watching Spongebob, while Ryan sat next to her, drinking a beer. I walked over to Anna's small, pink, suitcase.
"Anna, chook, it's nearly time to head off." I called to her, picking up her incredibly light suitcase. I quickly passed Casey who was heading back inside. I slid Anna's case in easily next to mine. I stared at my suitcase, feeling butterflies erupt in my stomach. I was scared. But excited at the same time. I shut the trunk, twirling around and walking inside. Anna had gotten off the couch, her backpack on her shoulders and Casey had her handbag on hers. I looked at them both and let out a big breath.
"You ready?" I asked them. Anna grinned at me and nodded eagerly. Casey smiled.
"As I'll ever be." I looked at Ryan.
"Sorry for stealing your fiancé for a week or so." Ryan's shrugged.
"I'm just excited for what I'm gonna get when I get back." He smiled cheekily, when Casey elbowed him. I cleared my throat.
"Yeah, a bit much information." I smiled crookedly.
"Anna, say goodbye to your uncle." She turned.
"I'll see you soon uncle Rye." He grinned down at her.
"C'mon Lisa." He was the only one who ever called her Lisa. I think she kinda liked it. Or maybe she likes being called different names by different people. He crouched down, holding her close.
"I'll promise to jump all over your moms bed." Anna giggled at him, before kissing his cheek. She skipped up to me and I quickly ran her fingers through her hair, before she continued to go out the door.

"Cya big bro." I said, taking a couple of steps forward and wrapping myself around him. He squeezed me tight.
"Please don't do anything stupid and don't bring home another little niece or nephew. Don't be silly wrap your willy." I laughed into his shoulder. I smiled.
"I won't." I murmur. I closed my eyes and held my brother closer.
"I'll miss you." I whisper. He kissed the side of my head.
"I'll miss you too, dweeb." I chuckled before pulling back.
"I'll give you two privacy, but you only have two minutes, so no quicky ok. I don't care if you violently make out, just don't let it go too far." I joked before walking out. Anna was leaning against the car. Her eyes following a butterfly that was flying into the skies, over a towering palm tree. I smiled down at her.
"Are you excited?"
"I feel a bit sick." She said, while grinning.
"But a good sick." She said, rocking back on forth on her heels. She was wearing a cute little white skirt with a stripped t-shirt. Her gorgeous hair tied in a ponytail, a little bow sitting on the top of it. I beamed at her.
"Same." I admitted. Casey came out, Ryan following her. Casey's hair was a bit messed up causing me to chuckle under my breath. She reached the car and let out a breath.
"Let's hit the road?" I nodded, biting my lip. She held out the keys to me. I grabbed them, turning helping Anna into the car. Casey gave Ryan a quick kiss on the lips before climbing into the passenger.
"See ya in three months Cat." Ryan said, waving at me. I gave him a half hearted smile before giving him a salute and sitting in the car. Casey looked at me.
"You ready?" I sighed.
"If one more person asks me that, I may not be." I mumbled, turning the ignition on and pulling out of the drive.

I felt my eyes widen at the huge bus sitting in the guys driveway. I got out of my car, eyeing it. I saw a few extra people running around it. I managed to see Mike pushing a rolling box, clearly full of equipment. He noticed me Casey and Anna standing there, waving before passing the gear to another guy. I walked up to the bus to see Vic and Jamie sitting on the steps up to the bus.
"Jesus Mary and Joseph, it's fricken huge." I exclaimed as I walked up to them. Vic laughed at me.
"Yeah, your partying with us." Jaime made whooping noise and started fist pumping the air making me giggle. There was only a few extras, I'm taking guitar and drum techs and similar things to that. I frowned.
"Where's Turtle?" Jamie pointed his thumb over his shoulder.
"Inside."
"Daddy!" A voice squealed as Anna raced past me and into Vic's arms. He laugh lightly.
"Hey princess, are you excited?" He asked her, grinning. She nodded. He kissed her cheek.
"Good." He looked up at me as Casey walked over to us.
"Want a tour of the bus?" I grinned and nodded. He managed to get up, while Anna clinged to him.
"Climb on my back, little monkey." He offered as she crawled over his shoulder, and settled on his back. He gripped her legs before walking up the steps. I pushed Jaime's head as I walked into causing a whine on annoyance and a slap to the back of my leg. Casey decided that she was gonna sit with Hime for a bit. I just waved my hand at her and continued following Vic. I was surprised at the immense size of the interior.
"This the front lounge, and behind there is the driver seat." Vic said, pointing to the right.
"Now down here we have the kitchen, and the bathroom is just here." He looked over his shoulder.
"Warning, do not go in there after Mike has taken a dump." I giggled.
"Bunks, your gonna be on this one above mine, you don't mind the top right? And they're quite spacious, so I hope you don't mind sharing with Anna." I smiled.
"That's fine."
"If I get sick of Mom, I'll just sleep with you." Anna said, beaming her face off.
"Sure, but you gotta promise, no braiding hair, or doing nails." She pouted.
"But that's my favourite part."
