Chapter Thirty-One: The Sun Isn't The Only Heated Thing.
I stood in the heat of the Montana sun. Elisa was chugging her water bottle as I applied more sunscreen to my fair skin. My sunglasses protecting my eyes from the burning rays. I leaned my head back, absorbing some heat onto my neck and chest. I turned to Elisa.
"You'll be ok if I get going?" I asked her. She smiled up at me, her nose ring sparkling in the sunlight.
"Yeah, that's fine. I've done it loads of times." I gave her a tight smile before turning and walking through the crowd, in search of the other tent we had set up. The guys were going to do some sort of interview in there. I think it was possibly with Bryan Stars which was pretty cool. All the kids bustled around me, desperately running to catch their favourite bands, or praying to bump into their favourite band members. I managed to push past them, only to be blocked by another crowd, around the tent. I growled under my breath and started my way through, apologising to anyone I managed to elbow, or partially injure.
"Hey, wait your turn." A girl with purple and blue hair snarled at me. I rolled my eyes, and held up my pass.
"I need to get through." She raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms over her chest.
"How do I know that's not fake?"
"Why does it matter to you if it's not, so excuse me." I went to push past, but she attempted to stop me.
"Hey, aren't you that chick that hang with PTV now?" A younger girl with big green eyes stared up at me. I gave a smug smirk to the other girl. I nodded to the girl, before shuffling past the rude girl. My irritation tolerance levels were low. I somehow managed to stumble to the front and ducked to the back, sitting with Gus. Tony gave me a smile, while continuing signing a girls shirt.
"How do you stand this." I murmured to Gus and he laughed.
"You get used to it after a while." I watched a girl attempted to snog Mike, but he moved his head and hugged her, looking slightly scared.
"Not all of them are crazy, they actually have pretty mellow fans." Gus explained. As I watched I did see what he means, there were a couple that were over excited, but most" were quite sweet and kind. Marcus stood up and yelled that it was the end of the signing and everyone who didn't make it look highly upset. I saw it made the guys slightly sad too.
"It's ok, we'll be hanging around anyway." Jaime called out to them, a few gave him big smiles. They waved at a few straggling fans before Vic smiled up at me.
"What's cooking good looking?" He asked cheerfully. Too cheerfully. I'm not in the mood for cheerful.
"Your balls in a fry pan." I snapped back. That was completely unnecessary. Wow, I'm a bitch today. Pre-menstrual, my due date was in four days I think. His eyebrows shot up.
"What's got your knickers in a knot?" He asked with a smirk, amused by my irritation.
"Nothing." I said curtly. I saw the other boys could clearly see my frustrations, back away slightly.
"C'mon, what's up? Why are you grumpy?" I gritted my teeth together in annoyance.
"I'm not grumpy."
"That's what a grumpy person would say." He rested his hand on my leg and I quickly pushed it away.
"I'm not in the mood." I bit back, turning around so I wouldn't have to face him. He followed my face, with a cheeky grin.
"C'mon, smile for me." He messed around, my rage building in me.
"Vic." I growled pushing his face away.
