It was his first day on his apartment. He was fixing his things when he heard a voice.
To be only yours I pray,

He turned his head to where the voice came from.
The voice is just so beautiful and soulful to ignore. It's calling him. So, he stood up and suddenly his things that are needed to be fix is forgotten.

Saan kaya galing yung boses na 'yon? Dito sa kaliwa o kanan?, he thought.
He knocked on the left door and was answered by a deep voice coming from a man.
"Ahhh.. Wala po. Maling kwarto po", he reasoned.
He went to the right door. Right door. He inhaled then exhaled to calm himself.
Kingina. Bakit ako kinakabahan?
He lifted his hand up for a knock but hesitated and shook his head then went back to his unit. Just when he's about to close the door, he changed his mind then knocked to the door next to his without thinking.
"Sino yan?"
He gulped.
Bakit ganon? Ang lambing ng boses.
"Sino yan?", the voice asked again.
"Aaaahhh... Ano...ah, ako yung bagong lipat sa kabilang unit.. ah... Ano kasi.. Ah.. I'm just wondering kung ahh... May.. Ahm..hmmm.. May toyo ka ba?"
He almost punch himself of what he said.
"Ano? Toyo?", the voice was a bit irritated but still sweet to his ears.
"Toyo... Ahhh.. Ano.. Toyo? Yung pang-adobo? Ano kasi.. Tama... Nagluluto ako ng adobo, wala pala akong toyo. Baka meron ka diyan, medyo.. Ano kasi, ano.. para sana hindi na ako bumaba"
"Ahhhh.. Ganun ba. Sandali lang"
His heart beats faster and he didn't know the reason why.
He waited for a while until he heard her voice again.
"Sorry, wala eh", was all she said.
"Ah.. Ganon ba? Sige"
He waited for her reply but there was none.
"Thank you"
He stared at the close door for a couple of seconds then sighed.
Hindi man lang ako pinagbuksan, he thought.
"Boy"
He turned to the left door before entering his unit.
"Kailangan mo ng toyo diba? O?", the guy said handing him a sachet of soy sauce.
"Ah... Salamat po", he said scratching his head. The guy just shook his head.
"Dadamoves ka na nga, sablay pa. Toyo? Talaga? Kung anak ko yang nandiyan baka ginulpi na kita", the guy said before entering his own unit.
He pouted his lips then smiled when the melodious voice next door echoed through his ears.
Baka wala lang sa mood. Siguro bukas good mood na siya. Sana.
