Dalawang araw. Dalawang araw ka ng hindi nagpaparamdam matapos mangyari 'yon. Ayos lang dapat ako kasi ito 'yong gusto ko. Yung lumayo ka at hayaan na lang akong mag-isa. Gusto kong pagsisihan 'yong araw ng binuksan ko ang pinto ko sa'yo. Pero paano? Kung 'yon ang pinakamagandang desisyon na nagawa ko matapos ang dalawang taong pagkukulong dito. Ngumiti ako uli, dahil sa'yo. Ayos lang dapat sa akin, kasi gusto ko 'to pero aminin ko man o hindi pinanghawakan ko 'yong sinabi mo na, hindi mo ako susukuan. Ayaw mo na ba? Natauhan ka na?

She was looking at the busy streets of Manila through her window when she hear continuous knocks. Her heart beats faster. Her hands turned cold.
"Sino yan?", she asked rolling the wheels of her wheelchair a little faster than usual.
I missed you...
"Dei, it's kuya. I forgot your keys sa office kasi"
"Oh, o... Okay. Come in kuya"
"Grabe napakadaming gagaw-", Jani stopped talking when he saw his sister rolled off her wheelchair away from him.
"Dei, are you oka- no, you're not okay", Jani released a sigh then went behind her sister. Rolling her wheelchair for her.
"What's wrong, bunso?"
"Kuya... " she said with a cracking voice. His head knotted then went infront of her sister.
"Why are you crying?", he asked squatting.
"I pushed him away", she said, tears rolled down her face.
"I don't deserve him. He's too good. And I'm not kuya. I once believed in love but look what it caused me, to mom and dad, tsaka sa'yo. Love is not for me"
"Ssshhh.. Dei, I never blamed you on what happened to mom and dad, that's an accident. At tsaka 'yong sa akin? Tss.. That's nothing. You are my sister and you are my priority and if Mara can't keep up with that, maybe her love for me isn't enough. Tsaka hindi mo naitatanong luma-lovelife yata ang kuya mo", he smirked.
"Kuyaaaa! I'm so happy for you but wait, does.. does she know about me?"
"Yea. She knew. And she's going to visit you soon, inaayos niya lang schedule niya. Now stop blaming yourself and leave the past behind", her kuya said, wiping her tears.
"What did Richard say?", he asked.
"He said he will never give up on me"
"Exactly what I thought"
"Pero kuya, dalawang araw na siyang hindi nagpaparamdam, maybe he realized that I am no good for him", she said, her tears started to form.
"You like him?"
"I missed him"
"Puntahan mo.. "
"Paano kung ayaw na niya sa akin?"
"Paano kung hindi? Paano kung hinihintay ka lang niya?"
"Kuya?"
"Oo na, oo na sige na. He always ask me about you. Lagi ka niyang kinakamusta, and remember the flower I gave you yesterday?"
She nodded.
"It's from him. Nung tinanong ko kung bakit di siya ang magbigay sabi niya ayaw mo daw siya makita"
"I never said that"
"Tingin ko nagtatampo siya"
"I'll talk to him"
"He's not around. He has an out of town seminar and he'll be back tomorrow"
"How did you know?"
"He told me, baka daw sakaling hanapin mo siya"
"You're a team?"
"Naman! #TeamToyo ako noh!", Jani said standing up then tapped Dei's head.
"I'll talk to him when he got back"
"That's my Dei, and you know what? Hindi lang siya ang bibigyan mo ng chance, pati ikaw. A chance not just to love but to forget, move on and live. I know it's been painful for you bunso. But you deserve to be happy again, and I know that you will find that happiness to uh, well a man named Richard who has the worst jokes", Jani said chuckling his way through her kitchen.
"Thanks kuya", she said smiling.
"No prob, bunso"

She was infront of his door for a couple of minutes. She lifted her closed fist for a knock but hesitated.
Anong sasabihin ko? she thought.
She gritted her teeth.
Bahala na.
Then, she knocked continuously.
"Sino yan?", she heard him say. She gulped. Ghaa. How she missed him.
"It's Dei..ah..hmm... Just...ano kasi..ahh-"
Dei, think!
"Ahh..kasi, tatanong ko lang kung uh.. Meron ka bang talong?"
Dei!!!!!!!!!!!!
"What?", she heard him asked. Why the heck is he not opening this door!
"Meron akong ano yun?", she heard him asked, a bit louder.
"Ta... Talong?"
"Ah, okay. I don't know if you'll like this, but, come in. The door is open"
You're in big trouble Dei, he will let you see his talong, she thought before opening the door.
Ghaaaad! Gulay kasi yun! She scolded herself.
