"Masarap?", he asked.
She nodded her head while chewing the food.
"Sarap", she answered.
He bit his lip as he wipe the corner of her mouth.
She looked at his hands then on his eyes.
"May, may sabaw"
"Ahhh... "
They continued eating silently, yes, she invited him to eat with her.
"Ahmmm, thank you ah", he said.
"Bakit?"
"For letting me in"
"Dapat nga mag-sorry ako sa iyo eh. Tungkol dun sa adobo. Sorry"
"Wala 'yon"
"Sorry, ayoko lang kasi na makita mo akong ganito"
"Bakit? What's wrong with you?"
"Don't act as if you don't know", she said looking away.
"Tingin ka sa akin", he said so she did.
"Ang ganda ganda mo", he looked at her eyes intently.
She tucked a strand of hair to her ear then continued eating.
"Saan mo nga pala nakuha 'yong mga jokes mo?"
"Sa google", he answered chuckling.
"Infairness, waley lahat", she answered preventing herself from laughing.
"Grabe siyaaaa.. Meron pa akong isa"
"Kain na lang tayo"
"Oyy..."
"Sige na nga last na yan ha?"
"Nakakatawa to"
"Sige"
"Anong Dei ang lagi mong aabangan"
"Ano?"
"Edi Pay Dei!"
"Hmmmmkay, Tara kain?", she said grinning.
"Natatawa ka eh, pinipigilan mo"
He smiled. He was tapping his back on his mind for doing a good job and not giving up. Cause this beautiful girl infront of him smiling fully is a sight to behold. And she was everything worth it.

After their peaceful and happy meal he volunteered to do the dishes to which she did not agree.
"Ako na", she insisted.
"Hindi ok lang, ako na", he answered smiling at her.
Her mood suddenly changed.
"Ako na sabi eh"
"Dei, ako na.."
"Richard, kaya ko! Not because I am disabled I can't do things on my own. Sinabi kong kaya ko, kaya ko!"
"Hey.. I.. Didn't mean to offend you... Sorry, I just want to do things for you"
"Hindi na kailangan dahil kaya ko! Umuwi ka na"
"Dei... I'm sorry", he begged kneeling infront of her to face her.
She looked away.
"Hindi ganon, sorry na"
"Umuwi ka na"
"Oyyy, sandali lang.. Sorry.. Sige na, ikaw na.."
"Ok na, uwi ka na"
"Sandali, tingin ka muna sa akin.. Okay tayo?", he asked tilting her chin.
She met his sad eyes, she closed hers then exhaled.
"Sorry din", she said looking into his eyes then did her best to smile.
"Okay tayo"
"Alis na ako?"
She shook her head.
"Mamaya na, pagtapos mo maghugas ng pinggan"
He smiled.
"Saan ka?"
"Shower", she answered then started rolling her wheelchair.
"Kaya mo?"
She glared at him.
"Sabi ko nga"
