Song for this chapter: A Great Big World ft. Christina Aguilera- Say something
Chapter 28- Emotion
I'm angry with my dad for leaving in a time of such crisis, but when he hugs me as soon as we're reunited, the anger washes away.
I'm angry at Garrett for torturing me countless times, but when he is announced dead, the anger washes away.
I'm angry at Rey for taking part in my kidnapping and also for killing his family and then himself, but that's the past and the anger has washed away.
It's over now. The anger, the hate, the hurt...it ended once his life did.
My parents told me Harry was in the waiting room, waiting for me, but I didn't want to see him right then. I just wanted to be with my dad and my mom and no one else. Family; the ones who will always love and accept you the way you are. Your best friends.
Too often, people take family for granted. When I was insecure and lost, they carried me through the hard times. They were always there for me and I was just too blind to see it.
Now we have another addition to the family on it's way; a boy and his name is going to be Parker.
We pass by the waiting room to leave the hospital, but Harry isn't there. I feel slightly disappointed, but I keep moving.
I meet Tasha at the front door where me and her greet each other with small smiles; the most kindness she has ever shown towards me.
"Leanne's dead because of me, isn't she?"
I shake my head. "No. My mom used to tell me how when we are born, we have our own Book of Life. Some of our books only have sixty chapters and others have four hundred. There's no stopping what is bound to happen."
She smiles, tears wrinkling the corners of her eyes. "You're ready to be the new stars of small town Ripley?"
I laugh breathlessly. "Such peasants these people are. They should have a red carpet and a limo all ready and lined up for us."
She laughs along with me and we walk out together, cameras flashing all over us and microphones being shoved our way.
I push through the crowd without saying a word, but Tasha has something different in mind.
"It's good to be alive." she repeats into every microphone and it damn sure is.

Document: The Real Life of Lana Grey
And I got out of there alive. And I am thankful.
Listen to what I'm about to say right now. It might just change your life.
You don't have to be sick, dying, kidnapped or have anything horrible happen to you in order to become insane. You don't have to let pain dictate your life.
All humans have an ounce of insanity in them. If they say they don't, they are lying.
Just like all humans have some kind of pain held deep within them; some more severe than others. We all battle against something; a memory, a condition, a person, but remember to always be kind.
Humble. And Grateful. Happy.
Insanity is good. It's probably the most mundane thing there is. Passion is good. Love is good. Life is good. Go make your life one hell of a story to tell. I know mines is.
And that wraps up the real life of Lana Grey. If you made it through the whole book, I congratulate you for sticking around after chapter one for such a crazy story.
