A few weeks had passed since our trip to Cedar Point and I was sitting next to Sam on the couch. We were watching The Amazing World of Gumball. Well more like I was watching it since I love the show[1]. Sam was partially watching it and looking at his phone. 

I heard my phone ringing and picked it after seeing it was Molly.

"Get in loser, we're going shopping." Molly spoke.

"..Why are you quoting Mean Girls?" I asked.

"Because I'm in front of your building with Lily and we need to go dress shopping for Prom!"

"Oh Prom...that's coming up. I almost forgot." I looked over to Sam who wasn't even paying attention. "I don't even know if we are going."

"Of course you guys are. Just tell Sam that you guys are going to Prom. There end of discussion."

"Alright let me tell him." I held the phone to my chest and tapped Sam on the shoulder. "Sam, we are going to prom...?" Somehow it ended up as a question.

"Are you asking or telling me? Because I don't care if we go or not." Sam raised an eyebrow.

"...Telling?"

"Again, asking or telling me."

"I would like to go since this will be my first and last prom."

"Alright then let's go. Even if we don't get tickets we would've been dragged and sneaked into prom."

"True," I laughed. I brought the phone back to my hear. "Alright I'm on my way down." I hung up after saying bye to Molly. "Well they're out front, so I'll be back later." I said to Sam as I got up.

"Figures," Sam waved bye as I slipped on my shoes and headed out.

As I got into Molly's car. I greeted the girls and we were off to the mall. We started to talk about the latest movie that came out and how we need to see it. I then heard one of my favorite songs came onto the radio. I started to sing along and the girls joined me. After a bit we manged to get to the mall.

"So we need a dress, new pair of shows, and if we have money left over then makeup." Molly listed off.

"I want a dress with crazy colors on it!" Lily grinned wide.

"Of course you do, I want something that looks modern and sexy, how about you Mia?" Molly asked me.

"Hmm, something with a classy feel I guess." I shrugged my shoulders.

I haven't really thought of the dress I wanted to wear. Mostly just a vague idea of what to wear. As we walked into one of the many stores that were selling prom dresses we started to look around. There wan't much for me in this store. I was just looking through a rack when Lily and Molly came over to me.

"We should move to the next store, there isn't anything really good here." Molly said.

"Alright," I smiled and followed them out of the store. 

After about 3 stores later we entered a new store that didn't have much but had really pretty dresses inside. It was on the more pricey side but it would be well worth it. We agreed that this store will be where we get our dresses.

First we looked for a dress for Lily.

"How about this one?" Molly snickered as she held up a dress with fake peacock feathers on it.

"I don't want to be a bird!" Lily pouted at Molly.

I giggled and then found the perfect dress for Lily. "Lily how about this one?" I ask.

"This better not have fake fur or something on it." Lily turned.

Her eyes lit up as she saw the dress. I pulled out a white base strapless dress with watercolor print on it. 

"It's so pretty!!" Lily took it from my hands.

"Lily I just chose a random size so you better find one that will fit." I told her.

She nodded and went to find a size that fits her.

"Well dress whisperer, do you think you can help me find a dress?" Molly asked.

"Sure." 

I started to look for a dress for Molly. I had a vague idea of what I wanted to look for. After searching through a few dresses I found the perfect one.

"Molly I found it!" I shouted to her. 

She ran over and squealed at how perfect the outfit was. It was a two piece black outfit. It was long sleeved that were lace but the back dipped low. Also a high waisted skirt with a slit and showed a thin line of mid-drift. 

"It's perfect! Modern and sexy!" Molly then went to find her size.

I drifted from them to find my own dress. I really didn't know what I wanted besides something classy. There were a lot of pretty dresses but none that screamed wear me. 

"Find anything yet?" Lily asked as she slid next to me.

"Nothing yet."

"Don't worry, Molly and I can help!" Lily then ran to Molly.

Then I saw it. It was a beige with red flowers and leaves over it. The dress was off the shoulders straps and showed the back. 

"Get it," Molly whispered.

I gave a little shout and turned to my left to see Molly and Lily. I nodded my head and looked for my size. Luckily they had it in my size. We went to pay, the person who rang us up gushed at how pretty the dresses we picked out were. After that we went to look at shoes. This part wasn't so hard since we knew what colors to get. Molly got black strapped high heels. While Lily picked some pink flats. I went with red short heels since I rather would like to feel my feet afterwards.

"Onward to Sephora!" Molly declared.

We each got one thing since we didn't have a lot of money left over.

"This was a nice girls day." I smiled at them as we walked back to the car.

"Same it was super fun!" Lily laughed and pulled us close so she could wrap her arms around us.

"Can't wait to do this again." Molly smiled.
