Just Your Classic Ch. 29

Authoress Notes: I really like this song!! Also today starts the 1 chapter a day for 5 days!! So now only 4 more days to go!!

Today was the day! Today was prom. I left Sam to take care of the dogs while I spent the night at Molly's along with Lily. This way we could get ready together. We stayed up late the night before just talking and watching funny videos. So we didn't get up until noon. We ate a brunch which consisted of cold pizza from the night before.

"So when are we getting ready?" I ask.

"Well the Dance isn't until 8 and the guys are picking us up at 7...so I say not until 5 or so." Molly thought out.

"Sounds like a plan, more time for doing nothing." Lily talked with a mouth full of pizza.

I laughed, "Sounds good then."

As the hours passed it was finally 5 and we started to get ready. Molly blared music in her room while we started to work on our hair. Molly was currently making her hair wavy since she was going to put all onto the left. Lily was hair spraying the hell out of her so she could actually try and clip her hair into an up-do.  I had a more simple approach to my hair. I was going to tame my wavy hair and clip part of it back and add some red leaves in random places. So I clipped my hair back and started to work on my make-up.

"You are so lucky you have a simple hairstyle." Molly said.

"Haha, yeah I didn't want to do something too crazy." I looked over to them.

"Hey Mia, can you clip this..right here. It's hard for me to reach the back of head without disturbing my hair." Lily asked.

"Sure," I turned to Lily and clipped the hair into place. "You guys looks so pretty!" I smiled to them.

"Lies! I have no make-up on." Molly pointed to me.

"Thank you! I know I am." Lily giggled.

I laughed and started on my make-up. Nothing too fancy, just a smokey eyes down in different reds and creams. A touch of highlighter and liquid matte lipstick. I ended up finishing within an hour while Molly and Lily were just starting on their make-up. Since I finished I helped them by handing them what they needed. 

Molly checked the time, "We have enough time to put our dresses on and then the boys should be here."

We helped each other get our dresses on. By the time we finished we heard Molly's mom call up to us that the boys have arrived. We slipped on shoes on and headed downstairs. Molly was the first to come down and I heard her mother gush about how mature she looked. Lily walked down next and Lane was telling her how beautiful she looked.

I took a deep breath to calm my nerves. Which I shouldn't be nervous since these are my friends. But then again Sam is down there. I slowly walked down the steps and saw Sam. He looked so handsome in a suit, he also donned a red tie to match my dress. He really looked good tonight. He gave me a smile. I walked over to him and held is arm.

"Very classy," Sam said and then kissed my cheek.

"Well it was what I was aiming for."

After we talked for a bit we took some photos. I had Molly snap a picture of Sam and I on my phone so I could send it to my aunt.

Once the photos were complete we headed out to eat. We managed to eat at Olive Garden. As I looked at the menu I got chicken fettuccine. The others got some form of pasta also. 

"I'm so glad you girls aren't the type to get just salads." Lane said.

"We need fuel to dance," Lily said.

Molly and I agreed to Lily. Our food arrived and we munched on our food. Sam was trying to steal some of my food to which I stole some of his. Before Sam could steal my food I moved the plate away.

"Come on, I let you have some of mine. Let me have a bite." Sam said.

"No, Mia doesn't share food." I stuck my tongue out.

Sam rolled his eyes, "You're being childish."

"So," I laughed.

After we finished eating it was close to 8:30 since we took our time. We all drove over to the venue. It was large and looked nice. We walked in and music was blaring, there was also a table with little foods and snacks. The guys went to find a table to claim and us girls headed to the dance floor. Luckily the music was good and not just pure dubstep[1]. 

I sang along to the song with Molly and Lily. We danced in a mini group. I really got into the music and was having a blast. Sadly the fun ended and a song that I didn't like came on. So I headed to find the table were the boys were at. I found the boys after a few seconds of searching. It was off to the side and near the back. I walked over and sat next to Sam.

"Done dancing?" Sam asked.

"I don't like the song...but I am thirsty."

Sam got up and held it hand out. "Let's go see what they have."

I took his hand and followed him to the tables. There were mini water bottles and I took one. Having water was better for me.

A few hours passed and I manged to get Sam to dance at least one fast song and currently was dancing to a slow song with him.

"This isn't so bad," I teased him.

"I prefer this than dancing to a normal song."

"You dancing fine...well considering I did all the work."

"Oh are we getting cocky now?" Sam asked with a raised brow.

"Yes I am," I laughed.

I then leaned by head onto his shoulder, "This is nice."

"You look really beautiful tonight." Sam whispered into my ear.

I felt my face heat up and looked up. As soon as my eyes met his, he leaned down and gave me a kiss. I couldn't help but smile into the kiss. 

"I'll never get used to your compliments," I told him once we moved back.

"It's a good thing I like your blushing face then," Sam teased. Oh have the tables turned.

Not long after our slow dance we said bye to the others and left back home. The ride was silent which I didn't mind. I was recounting the night. Besides the dances with Sam my favorite part was when Lily decided to get onto of a table to dance. Though a teacher made her get down.

I finally noticed that we were back home. I got out and we headed to the elevators. When I walked in first I was almost tackled by my dogs. 

"Yes! Yes I'm home," I laughed.

"I'll take them out," Sam said as he got their leashes.

I thanked Sam with a kiss and walked further into the apartment after taking my heels off. I headed to the room to take off the dress but was having troubles with the top button. So I waited for Sam. Not long after Sam came back and he headed into the room.

My back was turned and I moved my hair aside. "Sam can you get the button so I can take off the dress."

"...Sure but the dress isn't the only thing coming off."

I turned my head to look back. Sam had a smirk and was taking is tie off. My face lit up and I bit my lip. Looks like my night wasn't over yet.
