"Last week was way to close," I sighed and look over at Tyler who is flipping through a book.

"No kidding, I had to look down and walk quickly when I passed Sam." Tyler closed the book and went to put it back.

"I'm going to try talking about you to Sam starting today when I get home." 

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Tyler asks me.

"I can't lie to him anymore." I gave another sigh.

"Alright just tread lightly we both know how he gets about me." Tyler smiled softly. "Well I have to go for today, it was nice talking with you."

"Same, see you tomorrow Tyler." I smiled and waved to him as he left the store.

I just have to bring Tyler up casually as I can but that is going to be hard to do. Maybe I can mention a guy name Tyler that I know...that won't work Sam knows everyone I talk to since I don't talk to a lot of people. I'm just going to have to try my best and hope it works it's self out.

Sam picked me up and when we got home we sat down and ate dinner. This is my chance to bring up Tyler it's now or never. 

"Hey Sam..." I mumbled.

"Hey what?" Sam asked me.

"Have you ever thought of um... ya know trying to reconnect with your brother?" I asked and looked away from him.

"Never, I don't want to." Sam sounded slightly pissed.

"Why not?" I ask and looked to him.

"Just drop it Mia," Sam stabbed his food with his fork.

"But-"

"Drop it!" Sam then took a big breath, "Sorry...just I don't want to talk about him."

"Alright... sorry."

It was then quiet for the rest of the night with little to say.  

The next day Sam pretended that last night's conversation didn't happen. Which had me thinking that this was going to take even more time to get him to accept Tyler into his life again. At lunch I was with the girls since the boys hadn't show up yet.

"Hey can I ask you guys something?" I asked.

"Well you just did," Lily laughed.

"You know what she means, go ahead." Molly told me and rolled her eyes at Lily.

"Why does Sam hate his brother so much?" I asked them.

"Well from what I remember he helped get Sam kicked out his house and as he got older blamed Sam for what he did. Like if he broke something and then he just started to break things on purpose just to get Sam into trouble." Lily said.

"He was just evil to Sam, that's why Sam doesn't mind being the trouble maker or accused of being one until he meet you that is." Molly smiled.

"Wow I had no clue... can we keep this between us I don't want Sam to know that I asked you guys about Tyler." I spoke softly.

"Sure no big!" Lily smiled and then tried to steal Molly's food to which she slapped her hand with the plastic fork.

At work I was stacking some books and the owner came by who is an elderly man named Eugene Williams [1] . He is very kind to me and I think of him like a grandpa.

"Mia there you are, can I ask you to pick up some books for me." Mr. Williams asked.

"Sure no problem, where am I going?" I ask and set the books down.

Mr. Williams wrote the address on a paper and I put it on my phone for Google maps. As I walked out of the store I saw Tyler and he jogged over to me.

"Are you getting off early?" Tyler asked me.

"No, I have to go pick up some books for the store."

"Oh, well I'll get something to eat. Text me when you get back so we can talk about how last night went." Tyler smiled sweetly.

"Okay, it won't be long," I walked to Mr. William's car since Sam had dropped me off. 

Mr. Williams had a nice car, he owned an Audi A4. I felt like I had to drive it slow because it was such a nice car. It took me 15 minutes to get to the warehouse to pick up a small box of books. I talked withe the warehouse workers and they got me my box in no time. All I had to do was sign a paper and I was gone. 

The whole trip took me about half an hour to complete. Once parked I took out my phone and texted Tyler that I was back at the bookstore. I got out and took the box with me. I walked in and Mr. Williams smiled and took the box from me to open up.

"Thank you so much Mia," Mr. Williams said.

"No problem," I waited to see what was inside the box. Inside the box was a new book from a teen-fiction series. "Oh wow this just came out last week. I've been meaning to read this series but get distracted." I laughed.

"Some of the younger customers have been asking when we would get this book." Mr. Williams said.

"I see, well they will be happy now." I said and picked up a book. Mr. Williams nodded.

Mr. Williams phone went off and he picked it up. I could tell he was talking to his wife. I have yet to meet Mrs. Williams but I have seen pictures of her and she is such a cute old lady. Mr. Williams hung up after a bit.

"I have to leave for the day, our grandchild is coming over today." Mr. Williams smiled.

"Okay, have fun." I said as he handed me the keys to the store and left.

I picked up the box and headed over to the New Books display to put these books up. I heard the door open and gave out my usual welcome. I turned my head to see Tyler and he smiled and walked over.

"Hey, so these were the books you had to pick up?" Tyler asked.

"Yep."

"So how did last night go?"

"Not so well, he doesn't even want to think about you. You have changed right? Molly and Lily told me that you got Sam into trouble just for the fun of it." I looked back.

"And I regret doing that to him, I was bored with my current life so I didn't care what I did to others." Tyler looked like he did regret his actions.

"Good, I knew you weren't such  a bad guy." I laughed and got up to stand. "You are nice and considerate of others now. Some people would say that I just want to see the good in others." I turned around and Tyler was close, too close actually.

"They would also say you are naive," Tyler smirked which looked a bit wicked.

"Tyler...move." I spoke with slight annoyance.

"So even the cute Mia can become annoyed.

"Have you been messing with me this whole time?!"

"Yeah, I think you can do better than my little brother." Tyler got even closer.

"No!" I stepped back.

I was too slow because Tyler got close and pulled me to him by my waist. He then leaned down and kissed me. I tried to shove him away but he was stronger than me.

"Get the fuck off of Mia!" I heard an angry voice say.

[1] Did I ever mention the book store owners?? I have no clue and have mentions that I did in my notes >.> If I did please let me know so I can fix this!

Authoress End Notes: The reason I chose the song because the part about wanted the person to die, hence Sam wanted Tyler to die. It's not about Mia so don't worry haha. But OOOOO cliff hanger haven't had one of those for awhile!!
