After the introductions we all went out to the park to talk more, since Bonnie insisted on letting them get to know me and I, them. Everyone asked me questions like 'what brought me to Mystic Falls, why I'm visiting, what's going on in my life' etc. Then came a question that I've sort of been dreading the entire time I was there, and the realization a certain someone came across.

"Wait... You're Ashten Mills?!" Caroline said. Oh god, here we go. I mentally face-palmed myself. The one question I've been trying to avoid.

"Yes that is correct, would you like a cookie? Or candy? Perhaps an autograph or cd?" I asked. Usually that's what people ask for when they finally realize that I'm not a normal person.

"Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! No way! Do you know how much I love your songs?!" Caroline said practically fangirling.

"So what, Caroline?" Matt asked. Thank you! Thank you, even though you can't hear my thoughts, still. Thank you!

"You guys! This is Ashten Mills! Like THE Ashten Mills. You guys I love her! Bonnie! You never told me that SHE was your cousin! You could have hooked me up on those tickets that were sold out two months ago in Denver." Caroline said to the group, then 'scolding' my cousin Bonnie.

"Sorry Caroline." Bonnie said blushing at how she never thought of doing that for Caroline.

"This is what I've been trying to avoid the minute I got off the plane." I said face-palming myself and sighing.

"Sorry, Ashten." Caroline said apologetically.

"It's fine, I love meeting fans, best part of the job." I said smiling.

"Really? So how is that, like what type of things do you do? Is it hard?" Matt asked curiously.

"Yeah, I mean I love it! I love to see how many people actually love my music and what I do. It's not hard, it's amazing to be up on a stage and just sing. Sure I get nervous before a show, who doesn't!" I said smiling proudly.

"That's awesome! Oh by the way, question!" Caroline said raising on her right hand up shyly.

"Answer! Maybe. What's up?" I asked telling her to ask the question.

"There are rumors going around online saying that Ashten Mills is in the process of making a new album. Is it true?" Caroline said explaining to me her question.

"How do they know that." I said to my self lightly, but apparently Caroline must've heard it.

"So it is! Gahhh!! Can I hear it! Have you written anything yet? May I see! Oh I bet it's amazing!" Caroline said fangirling once again.

"I follow up on all your things, your manager Marcy posted up on twitter a tweet saying that the music producer is waiting on Ashten's new lyrics to create a new album that might be released in December." Caroline said pulling out her phone and showing me the message.

"Yes, indeed then. I am. Please don't get the word out on my location. In only here for Bonnie." I said pulling Bonnie into a side hug.

"Thanks Ash." Bonnie said smiling.

The rest of the time we spoke about what's happened with then, what they plan to do after graduation. Ellie wants to graduate and go off to college with her friends, Caroline and Bonnie. Jeremy is a sophomore now, look at him all grown up! He's such a cute kid. I loved it when he would scrunch up his nose whenever I'd flick his nose. Every now and then I would go to Jeremy and flick his nose to see if he still scrunched it up like when we were kids. He still did! I would stiffle up my laughter and he would glare at me playfully.

By the time we all got caught up with each other it was already 9. I had about 2 weeks before the month was over and finish the songs. I needed 6 and I only had 5 written up. Cal wanted 11 songs this new upcoming album, and if corporation liked them, then I would need a bonus track. FANTASTIC! Note the sarcasm. I said my good-byes to the group of seniors and went back to my flat. Damon though, asked if he could come along and 'escort' me to my car. Which I did find a little bit odd, but hey, he can protect me from all the vampires out there that I have no idea if they are. As Damon and I walked back we were in a long, silent, but awkard, sort of walk. That was until he decided to speak up.
