After I explained to both Caroline and Damon why Cal was pestering me with the 6 songs that he wanted by the next two weeks, Bonnie finally gave in to going home. Her to her home, and I to my rather large flat that Marce just had to get me. Notice the sarcasm in that sentence. Bonnie walked back to her car and I walked over to mine. I took out my car keys and opened the door. I got in, started my engine, and went well on my way home to my flat.

When I arrived at my flat there was a pile of roses in at the foot of my step. I picked up the roses and saw that there was a small little paper clipped to the plastic wrapping of the roses, you know like the ones you would get for your mother. I flipped the small rectangular paper and red the words written on it. "For the most beautiful girl in the world, Damon." It said. Of course. I honestly don't think he would actually be taken up with me.

I still smiled at the sweet gesture and went inside my flat. As I entered I tried to find a vase for the flowers. People don't really buy me flowers so this was very weird for me, yet sweet. I found a vase for the flowers and filled it up with water. While I put the flowers in the vase I checked the time, 4:23 pm. Holy mother of Chile Verde. I have to get ready for the movie.

I left the flowers in the vase and went over to my room. I began to look through the clothes in my closet, which I had packed for myself. I picked out my favourite black Guns and Roses tee, silver skinny jeans and black and white stripped cardigan. I left them on my bed as I went over to my bathroom to take a quick shower.

After I finished my shower, I quickly changed into my clothes that I had previously chosen. I connected my hair dryer and began to dry my hair. Once my hair was completely dried, I brushed it with my brush. I grabbed my curler and created light waves on my hair. My hair was only about 3 inches past my shoulders.

Once I had that all under control I looked at the clock once more, 6:47pm. I still didn't have my shoes. I looked everywhere for my black toms. I looked underneath my bed, underneath the light brown couch in the living room, and at the front entrance. Still nothing. I looked everywhere for them. Those were my favourite shoes, I know I brought them with me. I spun around, running my hands through my hair. As I did so, I came across Damon's face facing mine with light smile.

"Missing something?" He said smiling as he stared down at my feet, holding up my black toms in his hands, my nails were lightly coloured with a turquoise colour. I awkwardly put my feet over one another in an awkward manner.

"Yes, please Damon. I need my shoes." I said walking over to him as I did so, he held them up over his head, knowing that he's taller than I. I tried reaching up to him, but that only made him get a large grin on his face.

"Ah ah ah. Dear little Ashten, you mustn't be needy." He said smiling.

"How can I be needy of something that is rightfully mine?" I asked.

"Don't argue." He said stepping towards me. I started stepping backwards.

"Oh come on Ash, don't do that." He said giving me a light smile.

"Do what?" I said innocently as I smiled lightly back at him.

"Here, take your shoes. You'll be needing them." Damon said as he handed them to me.

"Hm. Now I'm curious. You just gave them to me. From what I gathered at the lunch with Bonnie and Caroline, you're not a person to give in." I said questioning his action.

"Nothing at all. Just came by to check up on you." He said smiling.

"Damon, you can't just come in here, whenever you feel like it, scare the whole chile verde out of me, and expect everything to be okay." I said laughing.

"Eh, sorry. " He said again smiling lightly.

"Thank you for the flowers, it was very sweet of you." I said thinking back to the flowers.

"Well the most beautiful roses, should go to the most beautiful girl." He said.

"Thank you." I said smiling genuinely.

"Of course," Damon said as he planted a kiss on my cheek, "I checked up on you, now I must go. Have a pleasant evening." He finished.

"You too." Was all I could say before he disappeared from my flat.
