"Rise and shine" My dad called. I looked at the time and it said ten. He had let me sleep in. My dad knocked on my door, to which I groaned, then he entered.
"Is Jughead still here?" I yawned and sat up.
"He's still sleeping last time I checked. I figured we would let him get whatever sleep he needs. Now do you want to tell me why you were so insistent on him staying?" My dad asked.
"I think he's been living at the Twilight..." I admitted. "I just didn't want him to have to stay there all alone another night."
"He's welcome to stay here any time, but remember, only in the guest bedroom. I wasn't born yesterday." My dad warned.
"Dad, Jughead is a god guy. He wouldn't-" I started.
"It's not Jughead I'm referring to." He said plainly. My jaw dropped. "I know how your mother was at this age and you are exactly like her. I think it's time we set some rules when it comes to boys."
"We are not having this conversation right now." I groaned.
"We should have had it a while ago, quite frankly." He stated. It almost felt like I was getting in trouble, and I'm never in trouble. "I have eyes and ears all over Riverdale. Just keep that in mind. Now, I'm thinking a curfew of midnight unless explicitly agreed upon for a special occasion."
"Fair enough." I agreed. I knew better than to argue.
"You are not to be in the drive in shack without a group of people. Not just Jughead." My dad stated.
"But dad-"
"No buts about it. I'm not oblivious Rosalina." He continued. "I just want you to be safe. Moving back to Riverdale was probably not the safest move for us, so I don't need to be worrying about well...you know what."
"Fine." I agreed reluctantly.
"Oh, and one last thing." My dad added. "You are not to have any dealings with the South Side Serpents."
"Wasn't planning on it." I replied easily.
"Yes, but they are." He sighed. "I don't want this to be a family business. I know you aren't oblivious either so I know that you know all about me. Well, not all, but more than I would like. Just know that I have things under control. You don't need to have anything to do with this."
"Okay." I agreed. "Now can I go get some breakfast?"
"Yes. And make some for Juggie. He seems particularly tired." My dad said before leaving and closing my door. I got changed into plain black yoga pants and a tshirt that was so large it almost hung off one of my shoulders. I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and brushed my hair before heading down to make bacon, eggs, and toast. It wasn't long before a sleepy eyed Jughead made his way into the kitchen.
"Morning." He yawned but it sounded more like mowbwing.
"Good morning." I replied with a smiled. I buttered the toast and threw some on a plate. I slid eggs onto it and put a few pieces of bacon on it. I put the plate in front of Juggie before getting my own. "I have a curfew now. And I'm not allowed to be in the drive in "shack" alone with you anymore."
"So Chris did find out." Jughead said nervously.
"Yeah, I think so, but he also put more of the blame on me, which ya know he isn't wrong. I'm kind of an instigator." I replied then bit into some bacon.
