Day 17

      Ace was outside when he heard his friend, Ry call him. He looked at smiled.
     "Hey Ry! What's up?"
     "Hey Ace! Nothing much. Wanna grab a drink and hang for a while?"
     "Sure. I'm down." He smiled as they went to the small bar.
      At the bar, the two talked and hung out for a while.
     "So. You and Dia then?" Ry smirked as he took a sip of his beer and Ace blushed.
     "Yes.."
     "I'm happy for you, man. She's a very nice gal. Pretty too."
     "You hinting something?" He raised an eyebrow at him.
     "Course not! She's yours!" Ry laughed. "I've got someone else."
     "Oh really?" It was Ace's turn to smirk. "And who is that?" Ry blushed.
     "S-someone.." He chuckled and took a sip of his beer.
     "Didn't think you'd find someone."
     "Heh." Ry chuckled. "So. You tell her yet?"
     "What?" Ace looked at him.
     "You know. That little deal."
     "No. Not yet."
     "You need to, Ace. It's not going to help your situation if you keep it in. She cares about you."
     "I know.. I will." Ry nodded and the two continued to talk when they suddenly heard a siren.
     "Oh crap. That's the emergency siren. Something happened. It rarely goes off unless there's something really wrong. Come on Ace." Ace nodded and got up as they went out to see what was wrong. "Wait here." Ry told him before going over to where the sheriff was. After a while Ry came back to Ace and looked at him.
     "What happened..?" Ace asked.
     "There was an accident.. Three people were shot at the fountain. One of them was Dia.." Ace's eyes widened.
