Day 11
Ace sighed softly as he was at the small bar when Ry came in and sat next to him.
"Hey. What's up?" He asked as he grabbed a beer for each of them.
"Hey.. Just feeling down."
"How come?"
"Dia.. I confessed last night and she said that she couldn't.."
"Rejected. It happens, but don't give up." He placed a hand on his friend's shoulder. "Show her that you want to be with her and tell her the truth about what happened. Honesty is the first step in a relationship." Ace smiled and nodded.
"You're right. Thank you Ry."
"Anytime." He smiled back. "You know... There's a party going on tomorrow night. You and Dia should come."
"Alright." Ace smiled and took a sip of his beer.
When he arrived back, Ace noticed Dia asleep on the couch in the lobby. He smiled softly and placed a blanket over her, kissing her head gently. Dia stirred a bit, but remained asleep a she snuggled into the blanket. He smiled more before going upstairs to his room. He wouldn't give up. No matter what.
