He wouldn't give up. No matter what.

Day 12
Ace woke up the next morning and went downstairs, smiling as he saw Dia still peacefully sleeping. He sat down beside her and gently ran his fingers through her auburn hair. She purred a bit before opening her blue eyes.
"Hey.." He smiled at her.
"Hey.." She smiled a bit.
"Dia." He started as he gently pulled her onto his lap, burying his face in her hair. "I love you. I've never felt this way with anyone else. Please.. Give this a chance.."Dia blushed as she was on his lap, her head against his chest as she listened.
"Ace... I- You're leaving soon.."
"I'm still not giving this up. Even if I end up staying just to be with you, I'm not giving you up." She teared up a bit and gripped his shirt.
"I love you too... I want to be with you.." At that moment, she felt a pair of lips on hers and she responded instantly.Later that night, Dia came out of her room in a green and white dress, her auburn hair was down with a green flower-headband and gold dress shoes. Ace looked at her. She was beautiful... She smiled, a light blush dusting her cheeks at the sight of him. He was wearing a dark blue dress shirt and black dress pants with a white tie as his hair was neatly combed.
"You look beautiful, Dia.." He smiled and took her hand, gently kissing the back of it. She blushed a bit but smiled.
"And you look handsome, Ace.." He smiled and held his arm out to her.
"Shall we?"
"Yes." She smiled and linked her arm with his as they left for the party. At the party, the two arrived and Ace smiled when he saw Ry. Ry smiled as he went over to talk to them.
"Hey! Glad you two could make it!"
"Thank you for inviting us, Ry." Dia smiled.
"No problem. You two enjoy yourselves. And let me know when you're leaving."
"Will do." Ace smiled.
After about a couple of hours, Dia went onto a nearby dock. It's been fun so far, but she decided to get away for a while. Ace joined her not too long after and she smiled.
"Hey."
"Hey. You alright?" He smiled back.
"Yeah. Just needed to get away for a while."
"Same here." He chuckled before a soft song came on. Getting an idea, he gently took her hand and turned her toward him, placing his other hand around her waist. She blushed a bit as she placed her other hand on his shoulder. "Have you ever danced before?" He asked softly.
"Once." She replied. "But it was a long time ago."
"May I then?"
"Yes." She nodded as he started. "How do you know how to dance so well?"
"My mother was a dancer. She taught me and my siblings in case we ever find someone. She always said that it was important to learn."
"She was right. I'm surprised you listened." She giggled lightly as he let out a slight chuckle.
"I've never been one to argue with my parents. I'm grateful for them.."
"And I'm grateful for my uncle and cousins." She smiled, her blue eyes sparkling in the moonlight. Ace smiled as his green eyes shone, before he leaned down and placed his lips on hers for a sweet, but passionate kiss.
