Day 7

      Dia was outside reading on the deck. She couldn't deny that she did think of Ace once in a while. He was really attractive and kind. She shook her head. He was only here for 23 more days anyway.
     "Dia?" She heard a familiar voice and looked, feeling her cheeks heat up a bit.
     "Hello Ace." She said softly as he sat next to her.
     "Hello. I was wondering if you'd like to take a walk with me. If you aren't busy that is."
     "No, I'm not. I'd love to." She smiled. He smiled and stood up, holding his hand out as she took it, standing up as well.

      As the two of them strolled along the beach, Ace couldn't help but smile. She made him feel better and made him forget about his worries. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders and chuckled lightly as she blushed at the action.
     "Cute.."
     "I thought you weren't the romantic type." She replied softly.
     "I didn't think I was." He smiled. "I've never been interested in it, honestly. Never once has it crossed my mind."
     "Then why this?" She asked curiously.
     "Well... I just felt like it." She smiled and nodded as she leaned into him when they sat down.
     "I like it.. Not many do this."
     "Really? Has anyone asked you out before?"
     "A couple have. But I rejected them. I'm not one for romance either." She giggled. "Still though. It wouldn't hurt to try."
     "Exactly what I was thinking." Ace smiled.
     "I guess we are more similar than I thought."
     "Yeah. Dia?"
     "Yes Ace?" Dia looked at him.
     "Would you like to do something with me tomorrow?"
     "Yes." She smiled and kissed his cheek before getting up. "I'll see you tomorrow Ace."
     "See ya." He smiled as he blushed a bit. Maybe it won't be as bad as he thought..
