Ace woke up the next morning and went onto the deck, looking out toward the water. It sure was peaceful here and quiet. He loved it. And Dia was really nice. A small knock was heard and he looked to see Dia.
"Hello Ace. You're up early."
"Hello Dia. Yes. I thought I'd get a little fresh air. What are you doing up so early?"
"I couldn't sleep. Am I bothering you?"
"No, of course not." He smiled as she smiled back and nodded before going next to him.
"I've always loved it here. It's so nice and peaceful."
"Indeed. Where are you from?"
"A small town known as Gale. It's small, but it has amazing artistic works and the people are nice. What about you?"
"New Brewster. It's a big city now and everyone there is kind as well."
"I would like to visit sometime."
"It would be nice. I have three younger siblings there. Robert, Cassady, and Quinton."
"Lucky. I'm an only child. My uncle raised me. My parents both passed when I was six."
"I'm sorry to hear that.." He said softly.
"It's alright." Dia smiled a bit sadly. "I moved in this place 4 years ago. The owner is a good friend of mine and he offered me a job here."
"That was kind of him. I've been here once when I was little. It was on a family vacation. I loved it and I still do." Ace smiled.
"If you would like, I can show you around."
"I would like that." He smiled.

That morning, Ace and Dia went for a walk as Dia showed him the small town. He smiled as he was impressed at how much they've added since he was little. The two stopped at a cafe that was open and went inside, taking a seat in the back as Dia offered to pay for both of them. Ace smiled. She was very kind. Maybe they can talk and spend more time together. He would love to get to know her more.
