Day 19

      Ace was reading as Dia was asleep. He smiled a bit and gently ran his fingers through her hair as Ry came in with a tray.
     "This is for when she wakes up. Here's some coffee for you though."
     "Thank you Ry." Ace smiled and took the mug.
     "How are you?" Ry asked as he took his own and sat down. "You were shaken up yesterday."
     "Better today. I'm very relieved that Dia and the other two are alive."
     "That's good. Ace. You're a good guy and one of the best ones I know. Don't limit yourself after something like that. You might miss out on another opportunity like this."
     "You're right Ry. From now on I'll do my best. Especially if I have her by my side." Ry smiled and placed a hand on his shoulder before they both saw movement from Dia. "Dia..?" Ace called softly as she opened her blue eyes. "Hey.. How are you?"
     "Hey.. I'm okay.." She smiled a bit as she carefully sat up. He smiled and gently kissed her head.
     "Are you hungry? Ry brought some food for you."
     "A little.." She said softly as Ace nodded and gently set the tray in her lap. "Thank you.."
     "After everything you've done for me, the least I can do is stay and help you until you recover."
     "Ace... Saving me and the others is the greatest thing you've done. I'm very grateful." He smiled and nodded.
     "I'll always be here for you, Dia.."
