Chapter 12

 I Look back at them smiling. "How do we do this?" I ask knowing I need to leave for me to Handle the situation. My brother smiles, then looks around. Everyone's calmed down and is just talking, 

"Forgive me?" He asks, I tilt my head confused 

"For wha-" I was cut of by a sudden Jab in my stomach, I fall to my knees coughing, Everyone stares

"Oh no, I'll have to take him to the Nurses office and help him" My brother cries, He helps me to my knees as I'm still coughing

"Asshole" I say quietly 

"Takes one to know one" He says smiling. 

"I'll be right back" He says over his shoulder, 

"That was SO embarrassing" I say once the door closes, I stand up straight

"How else would we have done it?" He asks

"I don't know" I say then sigh "Give me some warning next time"

"Pay back" He answers with a smirk "You made that group turn on me" He crosses his arms, I laugh "Anyway, get going" I nod and begin to walk away, 

"Tetsu" He says as I walk away, I turn "be careful" I smile back at him, 

"Always am" I reply walking away. When I turn the corner, I make sure I'm out of sight of anyone, I lean against the wall as I feel the shadows encase my form, A warm feeling surrounds my body. Once they dissipate I look down and see my appearance has changed, I'm wearing my black hoodie, pulled up to my elbows, I bring my hands up to my face to feel the mask that I wear, only showing my eyes, I pull my hood up, I am no longer Kuroko Tetsuya, I am The Phantom.   

'let's go' Mirai says, I nod and start running through the back alleys, The shadow guiding me. Reaching the destination I see a large creature, Almost the size of the buildings next to it, Its red eyes looking at the soldiers around it. To me it looks like a cross between dragon and a giant. I sigh knowing this may be tough. I run up to one of the fighters and tap them on the shoulders.

"Oh thank GOD" He says breathing heavily, I nod as a sign of greeting "We don't know what to do, we've lost about 20 people and many injuries" I can hear the panic in his voice. I stay silent, they all know I rarely talk, He brings his hand up to his ear. "Yeah? Okay, okay got ya" He looks back to me. "What are we doing?" I ask, my voice lower than usual to disuse me. "Capture it" He says handing me a yellow orb like object, it has certain markings on it to open it, I put it away so its out of my way, I nod and walk away. I look up at the creature. 

'Woah, That's a big one' I say in my head 

'Yeah' Mirai says in response. 'Nothing we can't handle' I smile under the mask. The creature see's me and roars, I notice a film crew off in the distance filming it. I bring my hand up towards the demon as it charges for me. I send two large lines of shadow forward crashing into is making it screech in pain, It brings a claw up and crashes down trying to hit me, I jump up avoiding it. I land on the things hand. I pull my hand back behind me as a blast of dark light appears in my hand,  where there was once a shadowy figure is my staff. This feels good, It feels normal. I run up the demons arm towards its face as it glares at me. I bring my staff up and point it at its face sending Dark energy forward. Once again is screams in pain. I jump off onto a roof and stare at it, It glares at me again, I smile under my mask, I bring my arm up again, my own markings glowing a dull blue, Another blast of shadowy energy blasts forward, encasing the demon, I jump down from the roof and stare at the creature, "Fucking weak" I say more to myself than anyone else. It snarls and Roars, I huge blast of heat hits me as I get pushed back, I look up as the creature struggles against the shadows, "Fuck that burns" I say looking down seeing my outfit is untouched, I notice the camera locked on me filming the battle. I bring my staff up, the skull on the end glowing, A huge blast of dark energy shoots out into the creature, Still grappled I watch as the its form shrinks down, I hold the orb out before running my hand over the markings on it as it gets sucked into the orb. I throw it back to the person who gave it to me, dropping my staff and it dissolves in shadow, back to its safe place. "Wow, you really are amazing" He says staring at me in awe, I look around and see the amount of people on the floor,
