"Out of the way Morticia

"Out of the way Morticia." Comments a voice in a high pitch screech from behind me.

It's Monday and after the entire weekend binging on the sweet and salty treats Evan got me and sitting on the couch watching endless romcoms and feeling sorry for myself, this is not what I need right now.

I ignore the voice in order to maintain what's left of my sanity.

"Ay, Addams Family, I'm speaking to you." Comments the voice in a degrading tone.

I turn my head to meet the brown eyes of London Kandasamy.

London Kandasamy. The "IT" girl of Hellingtown High, co-captain of the swim team, number 3 in the grade academically and a totally asswipe.

Although extremely beautiful she lacks a certain personality characteristic that some people may appreciate. A sense of shutting the fuck up.

My expression gives off no emotion whatsoever.

Bring it, bitch.

"Was that directed at me?" I ask coolly.

She folds her pretty little manicured fingers in front of her, "Oh look! It does speak," she laughs, "Well, yes, that was directed at you. You're the only one here who looks like they've just risen from the grave and why do you always look like a slapped arse?"

The non-fighter in me just wants to walk away but the confrontational bitch wants to bring the girl down to size.

I look around and notice we've formed an audience. How cliché.

My eyes meet no familiar ones. Suddenly those pink little nails are in my face as she clicks to get my attention.

I quickly grab her arm, twist it around and place it behind her back and keep it like that. I'm raging.

Who the fuck does she think she is?

"Two things you need to know about me, London," my voice is dripping in venom as speak, "One, don't fuck with Addams Family and two, never treat me like a fucking dog, because I'll show you bitch if you'd really like to see one."

She whimpers under my hold and that's when I look up and realize that some kids are taking out the cellphones, probably to record this altercation. Uh-oh.

I quickly release her and dip out. I'm not taking the chance of this going viral.

It isn't until I'm down the hall when I hear her again, "I will end you, Alexandra! Watch your back!"

Challenge accepted.
